I ordered this carpet rake because we have two large, long-haired dogs and two cats, and no matter how much we vacuum, there’s always more hair embedded in the carpet. First off, assembly was simple and once I started using it, I was honestly shocked at how much hair it pulled up from our rug. Even after vacuuming, this rake still managed to bring up piles of fur I didn’t even realize were stuck. It also works great on our stairs and couch, making those tricky areas much easier to clean.The handle is sturdy and a good length, so I don’t have to bend over too much, and the dual-sided head (one rubber edge, one metal edge) works great. It does take a little effort, but it’s totally worth it when you see how much fur comes up. Our rugs look so much cleaner, and I’m pretty sure this rake is going to be in daily use at our house. If you have pets that shed, this is absolutely worth it!
