Great packaging and arrived 4 days earlier than expected. Easy to assemble because the fasteners were all in place... even the instructions were precise. The quality of the drum fan is impressive, all metal, no plastic, solid base. It has a relaxing hum as it blows back everything in its path. I love this fan!!!

Item arrived well packages, and exactly as described. Simple setup, just make sure you get the spacers the right way round - there's a little indentation and that goes against the wall of the fan. Within about 2 minutes it's up and running! Excellent stuff. Looks really well made, sturdy piece of kit from Caterpillar as you'd expect.

Use this both as a general ventilation fan and to remove dust from the room by setting the fan on top of a large cylindrical dust filter - got the idea from youtube.

I do woodworking in my garage and sawdust gets EVERYWHERE! Since the electronics in this fan are totally closed off I don't have to worry about sawdust getting into the wrong place and starting a fire. Even without that point it's a great fan. Moves lots of air, not too noisy, and it feels solid enough that I don't have worry about it breaking. It was easy to put together and the handle makes it easy to move. I can see myself using this until it burns out and then buying another just like it.

Great fan for the money. Used it for a home made dust filter system I made when woodworking.Really helps keeping the dust down in my garage. Filter at intake of fan keeps dust from building up on the internal components of the fan.4-speeds allow for more control. Fairly quiet for the power of this unit. Hopefully it will last.Update: while fan works well for my DIY air filter, the motor noise has increased quite a bit since using. Hopefully these motor bearings will last…

The fan blows a lot of air, but makes a racket at slow speeds. Not usable for indoor air circulation for me. I'm keeping it for the big jobs. The motor gets hot on slower speeds.

Love the fan! It does exactly what it should do! The only thing I would maybe change is the base to the fan, it’s round and large, kinda bulky. It would be nice if it had a slimmer bottom or something you could clip it to or attach it to maybe a wall mount. The bottom is too clunky for my liking
