A shirt like this is SO much better than a cone to keep your cat from messing with stitches. Our older female cat wore one of these following her spaying. Our younger cat is scheduled for hers next week so this is a must. Do they like it - nope not at all. But they quickly adapt to it, they still have full range of motion they just can’t get to the stitches. This one has 2 Velcro strips so you can size it accordingly. I got a small cause our girl is tiny but you can order whatever size you might need. We love this product!!

This is well made; materials is soft and stretchy; it serves its purpose, but I am not too excited about the double tabs (only one side has double tabs, the other side has a single tab. If they made double tabs on both sides, it would have been fine). I get the point the double tabs are supposed to fit cats with bigger bellies. However, the unused tab will be left out there, possibly picking up debris everywhere, which is not sanitary. I have a slim cat so this will not be an issue. I think the material itself gives sufficient stretch already, and you can easily size up for a bigger cat. So the double tabs are design is redundant.

this worked great for my cat after having a spay, she only got out of it a few times so that’s a win!
