Screen-glare is probably the main reason I will send this back, but they make these too complicated to run.You have Press three buttons to get to the main screen! Some people might like all the extra stuff, but I just want to know my speed, and mileage.

This is nice little bike computer with GPS. Right off the bat, value provided here is excellent as a good GPS computer with truly bright screen from bigger brands cost a pretty penny. This on the other hand is just $70.Pros:1. Excellent, sharp and bright screen. Much brighter than Edge 530 that I have.2. Great battery life when in use. Even better when idling. On average by Edge 530 loses 3% battery per day when not in use. This one hardly loses 1%. There were instances when I woke up the device after a couple of days and it had not lost a single battery percentage.3. Built in, quick triangulating GPS. As soon as I am out of the house, GPS connects even when there are mild clouds which is typical of PNW.4. Large, easy to press buttons.5. Connects easily and quickly with Garmin Varia and other speed sensors e.g. Wahoo. The incoming vehicles from behind are shown as little chevron arrows in orange color. Radar works perfectly but read about the light functionality in "cons" section.Cons:1. Terrible app with typical Chinese to English translation issues everywhere. For example, if you are looking for "sync" option to update data with the phone, there is none. Instead there is "transmit data to the device" option buried way under settings somewhere.2. Bluetooth loses connection if device isn't used everyday. Once it loses connection, there is no way to connect back easily. You have to reset the settings and start from scratch again - very, very frustrating. I hope they fix this problem ASAP.3. I was not able to make Varia's light function work with the unit. Radar worked and started showing vehicular data immediately but the light never turned on automatically like it does with Garmin Edge units. All is not lost though, you can manually turn on the light its just won't act like a warning/brake light for incoming vehicles like it does with Edge units.

The reason I got this GPS computer is I don't trust my bike controller. I electrified my mountain bike and entered 26” wheel diameter to the bike computer settings. However there's still a difference in speed and distance when compared to the phone. This is probably related to tire wall height. I don't have enough real estate on my handlebars to mount the phone. This device is more compact than a phone, and comes with two different handlebar mounts. Not only does it display your current ground speed, travel distance and time, it also records them. Later you can upload the records to your cell phone and analyze them later adding metrics like calories burned, etc. You can also change device settings and update firmware using a companion app. Device is splash resistant. It came with a USB-C charging cable and long lanyard to use it without a bike. There were 2 handlebar mount options included: permanent with 2 screws and tool-free with 2 sets of small and large rubber bands.

I was getting tired of constantly looking for a GPS bike computer that gave me the basics like speed, time, distance etc without a $400 price tag. Some of those have so many bells and whistles and other hoo-ha and I was like "seriously?!" I didn't want all that stuff, just the basics but in a package that actually works and is easy to read.Well this fit the bill. Great screen, nice back light, and the information is presented in an easy to read at a glance format. GPS connects quickly and seems accurate from my initial testing. You can change the screen display around to show different things, but I found the standard screen it starts on to be perfect. Speed, distance, time, max/avg speed, elevation... perfect!!!Now it'll do more than that, and can even do route navigation but I don't need any of that but at least you know it can do it if those things are important to you.So seriously, for the price I'm majorly impressed with this and its feature set.If I had one nitpick it would be that to set the time you have to download the app and sync it. Everything worked great right out of the box but the time was wrong and there is no way to change that in the device itself. I'm guessing a way to get you to get their app? haha... Beats me, but yeah. I just rolled my eyes, downloaded the app, made an account real quick and got the time to set correctly. I'll probably never use the app again as I don't care about logging my "workouts" and all that, my iPhone already does that. But this is a minor thing really, everything else about this bike computer is 5 stars in my book without a 5 star price tag.As for mounting, I didn't use their little rubber band doohickey and instead used a cheap $10 bar mount and it worked perfect.
