Our police frown on things stuck to the windshield so this sits securly on the dash and lets me adjust perfectly for driving.

Eassy to set up and adjust. Holds my GPS perfectly in place and doesn't slip on my dashboard. This is a quality item I recommend!

Delivery was lil delayed 😒 however I received my GPS device. Fresh out the package and it was ready for use. Must say I was able to use my GARMIN SMARTDRIVE 55 and it fits perfectly.....I didn't want the GPS device stuck to my window and the dashboard GPS holder was PERFECTLY FIT. I did a few sharp turns to see if the holder would move. And the dashboard holder never slid or moved, it was heavy enough and kept GPS right in place. I recommend this so I can remove during hot summers. I am really glad I choose this. Recommend to anyone not wanting GPS to over heat in summer months and quick set-up for on go runs.

It would work better for me if the gps connecting disc would adjust to a more parallel to base to accomodate being placed on console or floor board.

I travel daily for work, sometimes as much as 400 miles or so and still much prefer an old-school stand alone GPS unit over the one on my phone. My job regularly takes me down pipeline access roads, to mountain-top gas wells and down dirt and gravel roads that literally lead nowhere and mounting a GPS unit to the windshield or dash vent just doesnt work. Even if they don’t fall off (they alway do), the vibrations are so bad that it makes the display on the GPS vibrate much that it’s unreadable. That’s where this bean bag mount comes in. It is the answer to nearly all of my mounting issues and works like a dream. First of all, after a few months of continuous use, it seems to be very durable. The non slip base actually stays put, except during the most extreme road conditions (and even then it only moves a little) and it doesn’t transfer vibrations to the screen which makes it easy to read at all times. I also like the fact that when I’m fished for the day I can simply take the entire unit off the dash, base and all, and just throw it in the floor of my truck until I need it the next day.I would highly recommend this product and would purchase another without hesitation if this one bit the dust or was lost or stolen.

Not as good as the genuine Garmin Mount. It still works fine base is smaller and lighter than the original.

These NonSlip beanbag mounts work great for when you just want to throw up your GPS (or phone) on the dash and go. And you can quickly take them down out of sight when you need to. I have two Garmin GPSs and one of these for each in different cars. Had one for over 2.5 years and just bought this one for my son. They don't slide around during normal highway driving. Now if you slam on the brakes they will slide forward. But I'm a travel nurse and I've been all over the states for the past 2.5 years and had one of these on my dash since I started traveling, and it still works as it did the day I got it. When I pull into a gas station in an area I'm not familiar with, I just put it on the seat. Out of sight, out of mind kind of thinking. When I'm done and back on the road, back up on the dash. Great product if you don't want to mess with the suction cups. If you need to move it over an inch or two, just move it. I tried the suction cup ones and it didn't work for me. Love this. You never really know how handy one of these are until you get it.
