I like to shred my own cheese. This works perfectly. I tried a powered one but it did not work as well as this one. It is easy to set up, suction on the counter top and quick to shred.

I've been concerned about shredding my hand on the grater and I don't like to use the Cuisinart for quick jobs. I saw something like this at the CNE and thought that's what I need. I did a lot of research, about the one I saw at the CNE and several others on line. I chose this one and I'm totally pleased with it. We have a granite counter top and it really adheres to it well. In fact just putting it on the counter top it sticks to it but you need to work the lever for a really solid grip. I've shredded a block of mozzarella, carrot, slice a cucumber and it works well. I like the cone shape cutters and the downward angle of the spout. And the handle secures well to the device.I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase and wished I had been looking for this earlier. I used to have a hand held one for and it was crap compared to this.

I had this grater for about 2 weeks now and it is very well made. Sturdy plastic body, good blades, easy to use and change the blades. Easy to clean. No corners where gunk can accumulate.

2nd Update: I was using this today and just needed to say that this is still the best grater! I've owned it since May 2024 and use it constantly (mostly for grating Gouda, Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheeses). It works so well and fast. The time I need to set up my Kitchen Aid grater attachment takes about as long as using this little gem to grate a block of cheese. This has to be one of my favorite kitchen gadgets! I don't know if the company reads these reviews, but I hope you're still around if I ever need another one!Update: Only have good things to say about this grater. I've used it several times and it still looks like new is, very sturdy and easy to clean. It's so easy to wash by hand and haven't put it into the dishwasher. I forgot to mention that the interchangeable blades are cone shaped and no more cheese getting stuck inside. This really is the best grater in my opinion.Arrived in good packaging. Sturdy, easy to assemble, suction power is perfect (just make sure your countertop is squeeky clean!). This is my 3rd grater and this company by far is much better than the others I've had. They all eventually broke from the pressure on the handle. This handle screws onto the shaft and doesn't just click in like others. Everything seems much stronger/sturdier. Time will tell. For now it grates like a champ! Very happy with this purchase.

This product is so quick, easy and usable. It cleans up quickly and easily with no problems. Every attachment works great! As someone with severe arthritis in my fingers, it works fantastically and doesn’t hurt my hands.

Seems somewhat sturdy.I'm using it for soap and other crafting items. I like to make my own laundry soap, etc. Seemed to do just fine, just short of perfect. The chute was a bit short for some of my containers but I just grate onto cardboard and transfer it in. Also kind of wished there was a motorized version, but this might be for the best as I can use it anywhere and whether the power is out or not. I like it. Will take time to test durability but so far so good.

The the suction quality is poor in my opinion. The sturdiness and build quality of the grater itself is great. When the suction does work it works well. Also the ease of cleaning is top tier.
