I've been looking to get a pizza peel for a while now and came across this one. Pizza peels are generally quite expensive. Having done some research, I have discovered that the wooden pizza peel is preferred over a metal one.It is virtually impossible to make a pizza on a pizza stone without a pizza peel. You need the peel to transfer your pizza onto the hot stone.This one is wood and it is sold and well-built. It is not that expensive considering the quality of it. This pizza peel also doubles as a cutting board. One side is the pizza peel. The other side looks like a traditional cutting board. You can prep your pizza condiments on one side and then prepare your dough on the other.The board is of bamboo construction. The board is large so you won't lack for space for your pizza. There is a hole in the handle with a cord so if you have the proper setup, you can just hang it up, saving you some space.If you have been looking for a pizza peel or considering one and you do need one if you are making pizza on a pizza stone, do not hesitate to consider this one as it provides excellent value for the money.

I returned the other pizza peel I had with a double edge for this one because of the single wedge. I found it was harder to scoop up the pizza with the double edge.After using this for a few pizzas, I would recommend using a metal pizza peel and just a regular cutting board to put it on afterward.

Good quality wood, great for grilling pizza, there is a learning curve on getting the dough not to stick to it and slide off easily. That would be plenty of semolina flour, make sure dough isn’t too moist

I bought an Ooni Koda 12 and needed a small peel to launch my pizzas. I originally bought a bamboo peel for five dollars cheaper, and was super disappointed with the quality. I spent a little more money and ordered this one and boy am I happy with the quality. It's got a little bit of heaviness to it and the wood is super smooth and polished. LOVE IT!

The box indicates a peel size of 12"×14", while the actual dimension of the one I received is 12 5/8 " wide, with a usable surface, front to back, of 11.5" before the pizza would contact the handle.In order for the peel to fit in my Solo Stove PiFire pizza oven, I will need to trim about 1/2" off both sides. Otherwise it should work well to deliver an 11" uncooked pizza into the oven.It appears sturdy and well made, but a little thick to retrieve a cooked pizza. I'll use a stainless peel to remove the cooked pizza or use the steel pizza rotator to lift the edge for the wood peel to slide under.

We got a pizza oven and did not know anything about peels. We got a steel peel and had some pretty significant trouble launching. Came to find you need something like this peel for launching then you switch to the steel to turn the pizza and remove from the oven. Who knew that you needed so much stuff to make a freakin pizza. Anyway, this peel, plus some semolina flour and your launching problems will be solved (if you had problems with the dough sticking). Only reason I give it 4 stars is that the foldable handle makes it a little wobbly. You can decide if the space savings are worth a little wobble. Fits in an Ooni Koda in case anyone is wondering.
