Didn’t really expect this to work but it really did. It saved me a lot of time removing the ribs from Swiss Chard during the holiday dinner preparation.

I bought this several months ago but just now used it for fresh rosemary and oregano. Works like a charm to strip the leaves AND chop them up. Super simple design, easy to clean, good fit in the hand. Wish I would have purchased this years ago. Cannot say enough good things.

The Chef'n herb stripper doesn't work for the lightweight herbs that I use since the stalk breaks before the leaves come off. Maybe it would work better for heavier/stronger things like kale. My husband doesn't use it either.

I love this. I had very large kale leaves to cut and a lot of them.. this made it so quick and easy! I can’t wait to use it on some of the other foods we eat regularly. A must have!

Seriously. Who knew that I actually needed this? Certainly I did not. This little gadget is super helpful, and ridiculously easy to use. De-stemming kale used to be a pain in the butt, but now it's quick and easy. This little green gadget is one of those things that you're glad that you have, so get one!

Das Gerät ist meiner Meinung nach komplett überflüssig. Es hat noch nicht einmal funktioniert wie beschrieben...Ein pasr Blättchen lassen sich schneller mit der Hand abrupfen.

I purchased one of these over three years ago and was so busy I am just now commenting on its capabilities as today I discovered these also have an additional hidden added function. My spouse and I are vegetarians and environmentally conscious so growing our very own fruits, vegetables, teas and herbs is very important to us. Many years ago I used to pull the leaves off of my kale by hand when I was purchasing boxes of organic farm produce, before I and my spouse had our own home. Shortly after I and my spouse got our own home and land I began growing. I do not throw away the stems of veggies such as kale, but instead sauté them thoroughly so they are tenderized or add them to my homemade soups. Something like the stems of Savannah mustard greens are not tough, but crispy so I often cut them with herb scissors and add them to salads along with the leafy greens. These style herb strippers are fantastic for stripping fresh rosemary, and the stems can be saved and used in things such as homemade potpourri or added to an outdoor grill to make vegetarian pizza. The additional here to fore as far as I know previously unknown use for these type herb strippers that I have discovered is their ability to have a dual function cleaning non-stick pots and pans or outdoor grills, or even pizza stones. They function like those plastic grill cleaners. I find mine particularly useful when my plastic grill cleaner is dirty, my spouse and I have another go to we use to clean our non-stick Aroma Professional quickly and easily. As far as stripping herbs from soft narrow stems like peppermint, it may not work as well unless you first dry the peppermint or dehydrate it in a dehydrator and use that way. - Julie Sands

Molto utile soprattutto per ripulire il rosmarino che io uso tanto in cucina. Per le verdure non lo ho ancora provato ma credo funzioni lo stesso

This tool saved me soooooo much prep time. I make a Parsley Stew that is so delicious, but takes forever to prep. You have to use so many bundles of parsley and every stem has to be stripped. I always did it by hand and not only did it take three times as long, at the end of the process my fingers would be so sore from hand pulling the flowers. This was amazingly easy and worked really well. Is is perfect? No. I'm going to carefully drill an additional hole on the herb side for the larger parsley stems that I had to separate first because they wouldn't fit in the largest herb hole. That will save me even more time.I knew something like this would work and had tried to do different things on my own with little success. I'm so glad I found this by accident. Using it was so easy that I barely had to pay attention. I did all the flower stripping while watching TV. Definitely a win in my kitchen book and a new favorite tool.
