This line is stiff but strong and I like the color but I could only recommend in 4 or 6LB on spinning reels because the line memory is just too much.

Maxima Crystal Ivory fishing line is a durable line with good knot strength. It does have memory and it is rather stiff. But I use this line for top shots on top of braid. I feel the tinted color makes it harder for inshore species to detect near sandy or muddy bottoms. This is probably not the best line for filling up spinning reels as it may not cast as far as some other brands. But when used as a top shot it seems to perform well. This line also makes affordable leaders with good abrasion resistance. My 5 star rating is based on my application and not on an application where I believe it would fall short.
