I liked that it regulated the flow. I hated the fact it developed a leak in the regulator 15min after use.

Upon further inspection, I dont believe the pin is moving down when turning regulator on or off. I will be contacting the vendor about a refund or replacement and get back about it.UPDATE: I have not received any response about an exchange or refund on this faulty product. When I tried USING this device, it does not even release proper. NOTHING made it into the secondary container and AFTER adding a secondary item to help crack the seal it only poured gas out the release hole in the back of the device. DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Im sorry every other vendor is out of equipment but if you go to galaxy gas they have a much better release valve, you should hit them up because the gear works as it should.

Works 100% if you know what you're doing. Other reviewers had two problems I see that could have affected their reviews. 1. Make sure you realize the device comes in FULL ON when you go to install your tank. Turn it all the way off. 2. Has two O-rings that must be in place before using, small one in the hole the tank screws into and a large one in the part that screws into the canister. Also, mine came with extra O-rings because I could see the small one being hard to find when they need to be replaced. Stay talking in deep voices my friends.

DO NOT BUY THISThe set screw is trash. The keeper screws to ensure the actuation valve stays in the closed position are trash. The actuation needle is trash. The gauges bounce all over the place and are trash.1. The set screw stripped as soon as I put an allen wrench to it. Notice any threads in the set screw in the picture? No? Me, either.2. The keeper screws back out unless I put Screw Glue on them—and then I have to have a drill to get them out. That makes clients nervous. When I am making chocolate delice and I need a wrench and drill, that’s not the right ambience for a private dinner. The keeper screws don’t keep; they’re supposed to stay in place to make sure your gas doesn’t leak and your customer has whipped cream when desired, not watch their Chef repair a ‘69 T-bird on their kitchen counter.3. The actuation needle sticks and there is no way to fix it. The actuation needle sticks in the 100% open position, when you place the regulator on, the needle is completely down and has no room for reciprocal movement and CANNOT RELEASE THE GAS. When I purchased this item, I did not expect to also to require the purchase of a complete set of Snapon tools to support its use.4. The threads and threadwell to mount the regulator to the bottle are too shallow for the typical 580g nitrous 0.95L bottle and don’t allow a full range of motion to release the gas. Imagine filling a swimming pool with water using a paper straw. That’s what the task seemed when I poured cream into my whipped cream dispenser and began the gas transfer with the “regulator.” The O-ring immediately blew, gas began escaping, the customers jumped, cats and dogs got along in the streets, Russia invaded the Ukraine, and the sun went dark. The picture indicates what lengths I went through to get this working. I was not successful and have recanted my diving and repair certifications.I am certified in advanced scuba and mixed-gas (NITROX and HELIOX). I am a retired military diver with two decades experience repairing and maintaining regulators. That’s 20 years, in case shopping for a good N2O regulator, viewing this product, and dealing with the hassle has sapped your will to live and intelligence, like it did mine to make this regulator seem like a good purchase.I am in therapy now. Thank you.Spend the $75-$100 on a QUALITY regulator that WORKS. DO NOT BUY THIS.

I finally got around to using this regulator. I hooked it to the bottle, it never read bottle pressure. Which tells me the regulator is crap. If I tried to unscrew it it’ll release all the bottle pressure. It’s past my return time so I’m not only out the price of the regulator I’m out the cost of a bottle too. I won’t be buying from these guys again. What a piece of junk.
