I purchased the CircleCord Dryer Adapter when I moved into a temporary place that had the wrong prong setup for my dryer. The adapter worked perfectly for my situation—converting my newer 4-prong dryer plug to the older 3-prong outlet in the house. It was easy to install, and the added safety ground wire gave me some peace of mind while using it.As a short-term solution, this adapter was great! It allowed us to use our dryer without needing to rewire or change outlets, and everything ran smoothly. The build quality seems solid, and I appreciated that it's ETL listed, which means it's been tested for safety standards.That said, I wouldn't recommend using this adapter long-term. While it works well for what it is, there's always a potential safety risk when using an adapter like this over an extended period. For temporary use, like in our case during a move, it's a perfect fix, but I wouldn’t rely on it for the long haul due to safety concerns.Overall, if you need a temporary solution to get your dryer up and running in a place with incompatible outlets, this is a great choice. Just be mindful to eventually upgrade to a proper wiring setup if you plan to stay in that home longer.

Arrived the next day in perfect condition. This was important as I was helping move an older clothes dryer to a new home. The dryer plug was the old style 3-prong 220V / 30 Amp plug. But the receptacle was the new 4-prong version. Receiving it the next day allowed us to complete the installation of the dryer. The adapter looks and feels like a quality product which resolved the problem.
