It did fit and it does cover the opening.Only issue is it doesn’t have a proper fit over the drinking tab. So getting drink out can be a challenge. I got the lids to cover my drinks at work from gnats.

I usually drink a V8 Energy drink every morning, but sometimes can't finish the whole thing. These fit perfectly on those cans (which are about the size of one of those small Redbull cans). The lids make it easier to transport back home from work, so I can drink the rest later, and prevent me from spilling any in my car. I have not tried drinking the energy drink with them on the can, so I'm unsure how well that works. They are easy to put on and get off, so I just remove it when I want to drink some of it. Would buy again.

The silicone makes for a nice snug fit over the top of the can, but I bought it for the ease of drinking, too. The opening is too small for adequate pouring of the liquid, so the item is virtually just a cover, and there are much better covers out there. Stay away from this one if you like the idea of drinking from it.

These were great on the lake while paddle boarding and keeping water out of our drinks. Bringing up the oar and we would get lake water in out drinks if we were not extra careful before we got these. These were wonderful!Hubby was not a fan of them. So if you drink where you suck/pull while you are drinking, they suction and make it hard to drink, but the tip is to let it pour into your mouth and they work great. They kept bugs out too! They will be used when we are in the pool and have kids and friends jumping and splashing.

It works well and fits over all can types. It could use a small hole in the top to let air in while you drink from the can. It seals so well that the can crumbles like a bottle when drinking. A small hole in the top near the spout to let air in as you drink would remedy this problem.

This is a great lid, it fits over celsius, monster, yerba mate, cola cans, and just about most other cans (I don't have a drink can that the lid can't fit over). Very easy to clean, and keeps your drink safe if you are worried about anything falling in or if you accidentally knock it over.Warning: It is not completely leak proof especially if the drink is carbonated. For example, if you open a fresh can of celsius, put this lid over it, and put it in your bag, then it will leak. The pressure from inside the can will cause the leakage. If you de-carbonate it then it becomes more leak proof. Speaking of carbonation, this lid will not keep your drink carbonated.Still, if you accidentally tip over your drink or want to mix it up my shaking your drink a bit, then this lid will prevent it from spilling.

The cover fits, but the hole to drink from is so small it leaves no room for air and the can ends up like if you were to put your whole mouth over a bottle and drink. No air to get out. It doesn’t matter if you leave your mouth open and try to waterfall. Product sucks.

Works great! Fits snugly onto slim soft drink cans. Have not tried pouring the drink out of the silicone spout, but it has definitely kept the fizz in the soda after the can has been opened. Definitely a more environmentally friendly option than clingwrap and rubber bands.
