Sometimes you just need something plain and simple to do the job. We’ve got a few vases in the house as we love have fresh flowers from the garden throughout the year, and dried ones over the winter.Problem is, all of our vases are massive or shaped, or coloured glass, ceramic, we didn’t actually own a plain glass vase.The name of this product states it as being a bud vase, but to me a bud vase it tall and slender, and just about manages one or two flowers, this one holds plenty more and makes a great vessel for a selection of flowers, or a small bunch. Will perfect when the daffodils are about in the spring!At around 20cm/8 inches high, it’s a decent enough height to take some longish stemmed flowers and it’s wide enough to feel nice and stable. We didn’t try the sunflowers heads in this one, some of them may have been a bit big and I’m sure it wouldn’t have toppled over with one too big in it, but for general flowers it’s perfect.Nicely made, no flaws in the glass. Really pleased to have this in the house, it’s got a modern feel to it, but being so simple sits in well with some of our older pieces too.

This single glass vase arrived within a simply branded cardboard box and very well packaged with foam. I am pleased to say that the vase arrived in tact, without any breakages. The vase itself has a vertical ribbed design to the interior surface and measures 8.5cm in diameter with a height of 20cm.The vase is a good size for a small bouquet of flowers and it feels very stable when filled. The vase doesn’t have any sharp edges or blemishes and the glass is a good thickness which doesn’t feel too fragile.The vase is currently unavailable to purchase at the time of reviewing, so I can’t comment on pricing, but this is a nice decorative vase and holds a good number of flowers. The glass, although reasonably lightweight, does feel quite durable and it arrived very well packaged so I would be happy to recommend it.

With it only being 8" tall, I think it's actually an extremely versatile piece that can either act as the big eye-catcher, or something a little more subdued, like on the end of a shelf. The size is perhaps ironically it's strongest asset, as it gives you a ton of playing room in terms of what vibe/theme you're going for. Something big, bright and bold would definitely work, but also even just a single flower for something more moody/contemplative.Overall, I think it's super versatile - I'm not even sure which room should be it's permanent home as there's a good case to be made for all of them. Either way, very happy! Considering getting a second!

I love the price of this vase and I love the fact that the opening is smaller than the vase… if you only have a dozen flowers they aren’t too spread out.
