I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it. The color is really pretty and you can still see the wood grain under the stain. Sound, although I am not a musician, sounds good to me. Would recommend.

Good drum for a starter like me. Mostly to be used for family gatherings and entertainment.Good quality. Since I am not a musician, do not if will be a good fit for a professional but for somebody starting, I highly recommend it.

This is my first large conga drum and I love it. I've always wanted one but never wanted to spend $300-$400 for one. I'm so happy to find this one for this price. It sounds great. The drum and the stand are both very sturdy. I'm sure that my 3 year old daughter and myself will love this drum forever.
