This stuff worked perfectly for me. I recently finished up a partscaster build with single coil pickups. I was left with a beautiful looking guitar, but I was experiencing some really annoying static pop and feedback. After doing some research, I knew the next step was to shield all of the cavities. I used this copper tape to shield all of the cavities on the guitar and the end result was a totally silent guitar with no more feedback or crackle! I was beyond thrilled! If you need to shield cavities on your guitar build, this stuff is absolutely worth it!

Used for guitar shielding. It’s now almost noise free! Easy to apply. Paper itself is kind of sharp. I had a few thin cuts on my fingers

Shielded quite a few guitars with one roll. And there is still some to spare. Great product that gets the job done. Sure beats foil and spray adhesive.

Used this to shield the control cavity on two Stratocaster guitars so far. Works great. Thanks.

Easy, effective shielding for single coil pickups. Conductive adhesive, so connectivity is maintained. I did have to drill a hole & add a screw & attach a wire to connect the two cavities in a Telecaster. I attempted to solder the wire directly to the tape, but the tape was too fragile. The net result was silent single coils.

The adhesive is conductive as well, which is good, because you can overlap the tape without any issues. I built a Telecaster style guitar from scratch and used this tape in the control cavity because it was a lot cheaper than the black conductive paint that a lot of people use. I‘ve heard that cooper tape works better than the paint anyway. I cut a piece to fit the bottom of the cavity then cut more pieces for the walls of the cavity. Since the adhesive is conductive, overlapping multiple pieces like this is no problem. So, if you are building or repairing electric guitars, this is what you need.

Did the job well.

The title speaks for itself. The adhesive is conductive and works great…….but…..do not expect the product to fix all of you hum issues. Yes it helps but it’s not a cure all.

More than enough to do 2 guitars. Very sticky tape. Easier to put in small strips and overlap rather than trying to put large ones on. Takes a bit of practice getting it looking neat but easy to apply and solder to as well.

Adhesion is good and enhanced with heat. Conductive and easy to solder. Easily formed around contours and trimmed to size & shape. Like most tapes, it likes to stick to itself and fingers more than the target application :-). Handy stuff to have if you do electrical repairs and customization.
