I didn't like how something so simple could be so hard to put on..first of all you can't peel off the backing all at once since it curls up and makes it difficult to straighten out. You need to apply and peel off as you go along,which makes it difficult if you have a large pot.I personally would not but this again. We will see if it works..I will update later.Update: these do not work..so don't waste your money..

I used the tape around the food bowls on my front porch. It has helped!

I never knew that copper tape barriers were a method used for slug repellent. Since I am not using this tape for that purpose I really can't speak to it's effectiveness in that arena. However, I do use copper tape like this to build high frequency antennas for my amateur radio endeavors. If you build an antenna out of PVC and then adhere this to the exterior of your PVC pipe it's as good as using solid copper pipe and a whole lot cheaper. This 20 mm tape is nearly 7/8" wide and the quality of the adhesive backing is quite good. The 'skin effect' of transmitted RF energy makes this a near perfect solution for several antenna designs, especially when working with transmissions in the 4 meter and above frequencies.

I like that I can organically repell the slugs. I dont want to hurt the worms that crawl at night and can be killed by slug bait or insecticide. Just create a boarder around your lettice row using this tape.

We have a bit of a snail problem in the garden and wrapping this tapt to the legs of the planters keep these critters out of the plants. I line this approach since it doesn't involve putting chemicals on the ground.
