The Handle/Tripos feels flvery sturdy and stable for holding the scanner. But the turntable is quite poor. It turns well and smooth, but there is way too much slop in the center pivot. Meaning that if I spin the table to make a scan, each time I come in contact with the table it will shift that table, and therefore, shift my scan. You can physically move the top of the table back and forth while it is resting. I will be returning it. Only reason it is two stars rather then one, is the handle/tripod seems nice and robust.
