After trying many different brands these are not in my top 3, they seem slow to cut and they fracture/wear down fast. Wouldnt buy these again or recommend to anyone. 2 stars only because they are the correct size and price was reasonable and delivered quickly, but beyond that no thanks.

Cut great. They last as long as any other I’ve used. Completely worth the money.

I can't stop buying these! Dollar for dollar you get five times the amount as harbor freight.I know so many people who have gotten injured with angle grinders and I was always taught don't cheap out when you're buying cut off wheels. I always wear a full face shield just in case, although I am happy to say I have been through over 200 of these discs and nothing but great cuts.

Do they last very long? No, maybe not like expensive ones but if you’re going through welding school, one pack was plenty for a semester. Or for garage welders.

Pretty good quality and for a good amount for price. Some wheels appear to tear up quicker than some other wheels, but work so far for what I do at home.

Long lasting and great quality cut off wheel. When it comes to cut off wheels I would never buy a cheap disk. They are too dangerous to use IMO. These are not cheap, they are quality and they look and feel and perform like it too.I use these on my cordless Milwaukee grinder and they work great! Can be used up to 12200 RPM or 80 M/s!Good Quality for the price and they cut quickly thanks to their thin nature!

Cut off disks usually have expiry date of 3 years after manufacture date. But these disks have expiry date in Oct 2025, which is exactly 2 years from now. I wish they were "fresher" out of the oven, as now I have 1/3 less shelf life out of them, compared to competition. The disks work well, and seem to be of standard quality. Tried them with various types of steel, and they cut fast, and last a reasonable time.

As a full time fabricator I’ve tried many different brands of cut off wheels or zip cuts whichever you prefer to call them. I’ve tried everything from sait, to Walter, to cheap Canadian store brands like master craft and everything else in between. These are however the first Amazon brand I’ve tried and I was extremely impressed considering the price point. Consumables can get expensive very quick but often times the more expensive ones last longer and cheaper ones end up in the garbage quicker, not the case with these. On stainless steel (much harder than mild steel) I was able to do well over 20 cuts per disc on 1/4 thick material. These numbers are certainly on par with Walter and other high end brands. Overall construction was great, I didn’t receive a single damaged or incorrectly made disc they were all perfect and built very well. I especially liked the thickness on these. At roughly .045 thick they are incredible precise and also allow you to cut through material much easier since they have less drag side to side while cutting. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about these and if they were labelled as any other known brand I’m sure they would be flying off the shelves for all the fab shops around. There’s a reason they’re so highly reviewed and currently out of stock, buyers approve of them and I can certainly see why.

*Picture is what happened when I used them to lightly grind the burred edge off my one cut*.I did a quick test and spun them up to 11,000 rpm (rated at 12,200). I have a variable speed grinder and usually don’t run it full out for cutting. But as a quick test I did and they didn’t fly apart! They seem to cut fairly well, however I deburred one of my cuts gently and the blade started flying apart pretty quickly (see picture - strings stayed attached to them - and didn’t blow apart, just you can feel bits coming off the blades and the wheel starts wearing faster). I’m just guessing here, but it’s as if they don’t have as much resin or something as some of the name brand ones. However it could also be that it’s because they seem thinner than the name brand ones (same colour scheme- made by the same maker as the grinder - as I know there are a lot of name brands and some are far better than others - but that’s what I’m comparing it to.)If I just did straight cutting like they are made for, and I didn’t use them for any gentle grinding then I’d say they last close to as long as the name brand ones.Overall, they are a fraction of the cost of the ones I usually use, and for the most part they work well, so there is some value there, but I’m not sure I’d suggest them in a production/work environment - and always remember to wear your safety equipment when using any grinding disks!
