It does what it is designed to do. Workmanship is great.

It bent. Bent to the point the key would not work. I had to drill out the lock to remove it. I used it 2 times towing. Very unsafe. Thank goodness I checked it.

Really appreciate the security of this item. Easy to install and never have to worry about it rusting since it has a cover for the key hole.

I bought this locking pin to fit my 2024 Tacoma. Toyota has made the rear hitch in this truck very wide and it needs a 4 inch length pin. I tested and fits perfectly.

New truck has a longer span for the hitch pin. This pin is long enough to work in my new truck

The lock is straight and is pushed on as if a cap. This appears to make it easy. But under the draw bar and bumper itās a tight spot and getting fingers to hold the pin and twist the key causes the lock to spin. So one has to hold the lock with two fingers in a very tight spot, and then hope you are turning the lock in the correct direction to remove the key while also trying to keep the lock seated past the shoulder of the pin. The better design is the lock / key port facing out not under the bumper like this. It works just donāt like the time it takes to make it lock or unlock.

This is an extra-long locking shaft for trailer hitch receivers, really intended for the 3-inch receivers such as on a Ford F350 or (in my case) the F250 with High-Capacity Trailer Tow package. But it will still work, the problem is it would leave an inch or more exposed where someone could (if so inclined) easily get to the shaft to cut it off. When used on the larger receiver, there isn't really room for a saw blade to be successfully used to cut through the locking shaft. This has a great, streamlined look and smooth key operation. I especially love the rubber flap that covers the key hole to keep dirt, mud and other debris out of it. The lock uses a barrel key or tubular or radial lock which in my opinion makes it much more secure than a traditional key lock. But, certainly harder to get replacement keys for.Great price on a nice lock. It's just what I was looking for.
