I dont know if i got a piece from a bad batch, but this thing was a horror story to install. Fitment is absolutely horrible, The 3 bolts putting the two pieces together didnt even thread in due to being a completely different thread pitch!?? I took to went thru every tap i have and not a single thread matched anything out there. Ended up just getting some generic bolts and washers from home depot and rigging it to work. With it all bolted to the engine and my stock exhaust left in its stock location the passenger side of the flange touched the Cat, the drivers side had 3/4 of a gap. Go with another brand. Needless to say i wont be going with any DC sports products after this.

Nice enough header with one big problem. Build quality appears to be decent and it clears my Moroso oil pan just fine (the 4-1 does not). Only gaskets between the two sections are included (no donut, no manifold gasket). The problem with mine (and hopefully this is just poor quality control) is that the flange at the end comes out at a weird angle and does not meet up with the rest of the exhaust in the right place. It is pulled to one side so much that it pulls the rest of the exhaust over with it, causing the other end of the exhaust to rub/knock against the body. Also could not get the lower bracket to line up for the hanger that bolts to the block. Returning and replacing with something of better quality.

Doesn't come with gaskets says so in instructions. but does come with O-ring gaskets for where the two pieces meet. I got my low end back or rather my power band moved lower to where i needed it for daily use. Sound is ok. Deep with a bell tone ring. Used for about a month revving high getting hot and still hasn't rusted. Good quality. Decent headers.

Bought for a 97 Integra LS. Puts the O2 sensor right up against the intermediate shaft which causes an embarrassing grinding noise when the car goes slow or you apply brakes.

Received my DC header on time and was wrapped very well. Upon install the support bracket that hangs off the back of the engine to sport the header did not line up with the bracket on the header itself. After some bending and drilling of the original bracket i was able to get it to bolt up with only 1 bolt in the engine and 1 nut on the header. This was most definitely NOT A DIRECT BOLT ON HEADER if the header bracket does not line up with the bracket that hangs off the engine. My Ceramic coating is already starting to discolor and come off the header as well and i have only had this on the car for about a week now. My opinion, this is NOT a 300 dollar header, fitment issues, coating coming off after a week of use, this is something i would expect from a cheap EBAY header not a name brand. After all the post i read about how they crack or the welds are bad or the coating comes off rather quickly, i figured not from a name brand maybe a cheap knock off, so i gave it a shot. Its a header, it works so far, not excited that i spent this much and am already having issues.

Item came on time and was well wrapped and undamaged.Pretty easy install (once I broke the old nuts and bolts loose), took a little tweaking when bolting it up to the cat and the mountbut overall not too bad. Reused exhaust manifold gasket, other two gaskets were supplied.Car doesn't sound much different and mid range performance might be a little bit better but once I get my catback exhaustI expect to see a noticeable improvement in performance and gas mileage.

Ordered this 2 piece Header from Autocare Depot. After unpacking the DC Sports box it came in, I noticed that the 2 gaskets + 3 bolts needed to join the 2 parts were not included. Likely an error at the mfr (DC Sports). I contacted Autocare Depot asap about this asking that they go out to the mfr and get the missing parts. 'Albert'( Autocare 'Customer Care') told me these parts were not included & that I'd need to supply my own. Having bought DC items before, I doubted this and again asked Autocare to look after their customer and get the hardware sent out to me. I noted that their actual Amazon advert stated these parts were included AND a previous testimonial noted them as well. To this he said that testimonials are not always accurate and that he contacted the mfr and no hardware is incl with this kit. I then called DC Sports myself (Pilot Automotive). They informed me I was correct & that the 2 gaskets and 3 studs should have been incl, but must've been forgotten. They promptly mailed them out to me. 5 stars for DC Sports. 0 stars for the integrity of Autocare Depot (who obviously do not care).
