I have a 99 Civic EX with a D-Series engine. Many years ago, I thought I was buying a genuine DC-Sports header, but it turned out to be an ebay special. I ran the knock-off for quite a while until it got way too rusty and old. This time I made sure to purchase a legit DC-Sports header here, directly from the manufacturer, and I'm very glad that I did.The 4-2-1 single piece design is like a work of art, though it is a tight fit to install from underneath the car as you maneuver the engine side up into position (not down from the top like you would with a 2-piece). Once it's there, everything bolted right in. Looks slick, and only slight discoloration is beginning to happen after +1000 miles. Love how it's a continuous flow without any constraints. Quality upgrade for sure.

I bought this to replace my rusted exhaust manifold. I sincerely wasn't going for performance, just something that fit and made the car run better and smoother. I paired this up to a magnaflow high flow cat and Walker exhaust branded midpipe out the OEM axle back exhaust. This thing installed flawlessly, was a little tight getting into place, but once there, bolted right up to everything on the manifold. I used an OEM Honda Exhaust manifold gasket on the head and an OEM donut gasket to mount up to the Catalytic converter and everything fit perfectly, no exhaust leaks.I was skeptical as i'm an OEM kind of guy, but i refused to pay the 500 dollars they wanted for a factory exhaust manifold. But DC Sports know what they're doing with Honda's. I've had this on for over a year and no problems, ceramic coating is still holding up well and it looks great.

Directly bolted onto my 95 Del Sol Si with no issues at all. Sounds great a slightly noticeable difference in power and response.

Header had dents all over it and clamp marks from the tube bender.

Edit: After several thousand miles of use, the header hasn't changed color at all. Still looks great! My elusive exhaust leak is also solved after changing the header, gaskets, and exhaust system. Finally! My ebay header that this replaced did sound better (had a burbling noise), but this does well. No drop or gain in gas mileage over ebay headers. Overall, I love these headers. They are quality, and the initial fiasco with surface scratches and rust was diminished after seeing how good these headers were. Changed to 5 stars now.I bought this item a little over a week ago, and was hopeful for the header. Upon arrival, the header was scratched and had surface rust. After talking to a representative, Amazon sent out a second header as a replacement. The second part was worse than the first, with denting and worse rust. After another talk with Amazon, I was permitted to keep the first header and return the second header with a refund. Much appreciated Amazon. After installing the header today, I am happy to report that the performance is quite good. Pretty much mounts in the stock position and has an included oxygen sensor extension to reach the further oxygen sensor hole. Please note that the header has some sort of oil/protective coating on the surface that will burn off. Apparently, this leads to some interesting smells until the residue burns off completely. I'd suggest running recirculating air for the first few days to avoid this. Most prevalent after idling for a prolonged time.Overall, I'd recommend the product. I would just be wary of damaged parts. Do not accept a dented and rusted part when you have to pay good money for a new part.

Has been installed for a couple months now, no leaks, still looks new. Installed perfect no fitment issues and did not change the exhaust tone in the car. Car seems to have more power but the mileage is the same as before I installed the header. Overall I am happy with it and would recommend it.

Installed on a 2000 Civic DX. I replaced the factory exhaust manifold/catalytic converter, which had a crack from the oxygen sensor hole around to the back side of the manifold. This piece fits perfectly and deleted the catalytic converter. Can feel the difference when merging onto the highway, the car has more power. I have a stock DX exhaust from the header back to the tail pipe. A small increase in noise at low RPMs and acceleration. The included oxygen sensor extension and wire ties made the installation easy. Exhaust manifold gasket is not included, but simple to find at local parts store. I had to purchase the rear engine mount bracket for an EX from the dealer, since my vehicle is a DX (studs face downward), but on the EX(studs face rearward), which is not a big problem. I have been running the car without the bracket installed yet with no issues. The downstream oxygen sensor has no place to go, since I deleted the converter, so I wire tied it to a bracket. The engine light comes on, because O2 voltage is to high, but the air fuel mixture is not affected by the downstream oxygen sensor. I could install an EX cat back system and have a place to put the oxygen sensor, but why would I want to choke up the exhaust with a converter. Overall, a very well made part, well worth the investment.
