Most units of this size had poor reviews, I purchased an inexpensive unit with decent reviews and immediately returned. This unit is substantially more powerful & more expensive and by all indications thus far, worth the money. I have about 15' of 2-12" hose line running from my panel saw to this unit, several feet of hose runs vertically above the saw. This unit does a nice job of capturing saw dust from the most difficult to collect from piece of woodworking equipment I have in the shop. This unit does a very nice job of dust collecting on other equipment such as my Shop fox planner & Delta Uni-saw. Mike C.

I have an Epilog in my home office and my fume extractor just can't keep up when I cut lots of wood. The HEPA and pleated filters are ridiculously expensive to replace so I needed an alternative means of fume removal.I purchased this blower about 6 months ago, but I just finally got to setting it up. I have it connected at the end of a 70 ft run of 4 inch rigid ducting. I have it plugged in to a variac so that I can fine tune the amount of suction that I need--to minimize the amount of noise. Even with the long run of pipe and lower voltage, this blower is still powerful and has no problems pulling wood cutting fumes from my Epilog.I considered getting one of the popular inline blowers on Amazon, but after comparing specs, this thing has roughly 9.5x x the amount of static pressure (2117 pa vs 223 pa).

Use it with a 60 watt laser with a 2' x 3' bed. So far there are no fumes escaping from the machine. Very happy with this product.
