These 4 inch diamond pads are great. I have used others and these are the best ones I have found. they give the best selection of grits for doing any job, they cut marble with ease. cutting 1500 grit I get a perfect uniform hone look in very short time, and you can see the white marble dust in the water. As I go up in grit 2000, 3000, 5000, etc each step you can see the improvement towards getting to polish. 8000 is not final polish, one does need to polish after the 8000.I needed larger size pads to keep ultra flat, using small pads can give some waviness.

Exactly what I needed to finish a marble repair. The range of grit is perfect for someone who does this stuff as a hobby. Price is right too. Fit on my walmart hyper tough grinder.

I didn't have and granite, marble or quartz ,but I did try these Konvixon Granite Polishing Kit 14Pcs Diamond Polishing Pads on some cut Brazilian Agate. While it does take some patience, Brazilian Agate being 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, making it relatively hard and resistant to scratches, these pads will produce a fine polish. The "ensuring fast grinding" is a stretch however. But the hook and loop attachment is convenient and effective., and oveall performance is good. I haven't used them enough to really evaluate their "long service life", but based on their performance on agate, their wear-resistance is good.Update - these Konvixon brand polishing pads are more versatile than I expected, and not just limited to stone. They are more durable that we (several of my friends have been helping me evaluate them), expected. Up to a 4.5 Star ratinng!

I have bought a number of these kits over the years, and this is among the best of them.I like they included a backing pad and drill adapter, just in case you don't have an angle grinder. The overall quality is good too.If you're not familiar with these, be sure you watch a few pro videos, they usually use water or a lube to flush the removed material, it can be messy ... ;) Also be sure you respect the speed ratings for each grit!I tested two pads in the higher grits and they worked great, but it was a short job so not sure of how they last. The only real issue I had with them was it's at the higher end of the pricing range of it's competition. That said, I've found in sanding/polishing products it can be expensive going cheap. So they get a 5 star

One of my daughters friends put her face wash, which contained Hyaluronic acid, on our new quartz countertop. The acid ended up etching the countertop, so I have been looking for a way to remove the etching and bringing the countertops back to their previous condition. This has proved far more difficult than I originally thought. I tried a couple of different polishes and compounds to get the etchings out, but nothing worked. I ordered these in hopes of sanding down to the layer the Hyaluronic acid had etched to and then polishing the countertop back up to the smoothness it had when we first bought it. I took a stab at the project today and though I was not completely successful, these polishing pads worked really well. I don't have any formal experience with polishing stone, but I was able to get down a few layers and almost completely removed the rings made by the face wash. I will have to go down a bit further next time, but I did work my way through all the different grits and the countertop actually looked pretty good for a novice working his way through the process. Next time I do this, I will be a bit more deliberate to find the layer I need to get to. I like this kit and am happy with how it performed.

I have not used these. The pads are all labeled with their grit level. The hook and loop holds the pads very well. They are actually hard to pull off. There is a good variety of grit levels too.

The backing plate spindle did not fit the backing plate so made everything worthless without buying a new backing plate.
