These work great for covering mini LED Christmas lights between windows, doors ect. that you don't want to be seen while on. They survived the very cold winter temperatures for months.

I built a wooden garden shed with a metal roof. The screws that hold down the metal roof were a bit too long - meaning, they extended below the wood on the inside of the building’s ceiling by about 1/2 inch - creating a potential for injury when I’m on a ladder up near the ceiling. I purchased the 4mm I.D. rubber caps to cover up the extremely sharp ends of the (3/16 inch O.D. thread) screws on the inside of the shed. The caps were tight enough that they needed to be twisted onto the ends of the screws, but not so loose that they would come off without manually unscrewing them. They worked perfectly for my application.
