Had to replace two window regulators for two separate Dodge Grand Caravan. Both have been installed for about a year now and still work. Easy to replace while watching a youtube clip.

Factory regulator broke and this seemed like a fairly simple DIY project. In my case, the cable had broken free and the window itself had fallen to the bottom of the door. The cable splayed around behind the panel interfered with lifting the window to a position where it could be removed from the clips of the old regulator, and I needed an extra set of hands for that part. Otherwise, everything was pretty straightforward after watching a youtube video. Installation of the new regulator (including insertion of the window into the clips) was easy enough after the old one was removed. No issues with fit or function.

Mal producto!! No lo recomiendo!! Se quiebra facilmente y daña el polarizado del vidrio!! Muy difícil de cambiarlo para que te funcione por unos meses a lo más un año!! No vale la pena!!!

I have a thought process in my car repairs and that is, if the part is less than $50 and the repair is easy enough, I'll do it myself instead of involving the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty we have for our vehicle. This way instead of our car sitting in a dealership for a week awaiting approval and repair, I can do it myself.Accessing the regulator is fairly easy after watching YouTube tutorials, and this part replaced the previous regulator easily. The biggest issue in the repair is reattaching the door handle and lock rods as it's a blind install. Once or back together, the window runs smoothly and is back in business.

Although the part fits and works as expected, the build feels cheap. The columns arent painted lile the original, which might lead to rust in the future. Alsp, the attachment to the motor on the OEM is screwed in place to one of the columns, while this one is not. With all that said, i installed and replaced the part and it works. :)

Everything installed super quick, fit exactly like OEM but for a fraction of the price.

This regulator fits and works as it should. This is not a job for the impatient. It took me a couple of hours with some trial and test fit. There are a lot of things to remove and it is tricky getting them all back together. I misunderstood the exact details (in the videos I watched) of how to remove the clips on the exterior door key lock shaft, which caused some fiddling to get it back in place. I don't know what it would cost at the dealer. But hopefully, they would have done it before. End result - it works like new. Would do it again. But don't expect it to be easy.

It was going to cost a crazy amount of money to fix our window at the garage. This did the trick! Hubby found an installation video on youTube.

So far so good. Took about 45 minutes to remove and replace the damaged unit. Works like new. Exact fit. Great savings versus buying from the dealership. Instructions were fine, but I strongly encourage you to look at a video online for better details specific to your vehicle.

I only rated the Durability 4 Stars because of the issues i've had with the cables breaking. For some reason the cables do not last longer than 12-18 months. You would think they'd last longer, i'm not sure. But i've had one last 18 months and this last one only 12 months. As far as the warranty, it's excellent! I called Dorman and they had Amazon ship me out a replacement immediately, and had it to me within 3 or 4 days. I also purchased one at Autozone for the passengers side which also failed. But they were amazing about swapping it out with no charge. They just required that I bring in the broken one. They're not real hard to install so as long as they keep breaking i'll keep replacing them i guess. I'm disabled and on a budget so it was nice to have it replaced or shipped at no charge to me.

Fit like OEM.Time will tell how long it will last. However, the large plastic trays that hold the window up have stress cracks from installation (you have to forcibly slide these over the end of the glass until a plastic nub clicks into a hole in the glass...this causes it to bend out until it latches). The originals broke during removal, they were very brittle (it was also below freezing here, which probably didn't help).Pro tip: You can replace this without completely removing the inner door card and unhooking the door lock/latch. The tracks actually bolt to the plastic inner door card, not the door frame itself. Once you get the glass unhooked from it, you can remove the 4 bolts that hold it to the inner card, and remove the motor (you have to re-use your old motor...it just slides onto the splines). Just be careful not to crack the inner door card where it mates to the latch assembly, there are some brittle (when it's cold) plastic fingers that lock the two together.Came pre-greased and ready to install.

This part is for a Chrysler Town and Country. I installed it on a 2012 model and it was very easy. I would describe how to do it but Youtube has several videos that walk you through it step by step. Let me tell you how this saved me a ton of money.1. The local tire place (will leave the name out) quoted me 200 dollars for the motor, 189.00 for this part, and 300 dollars labor.2. As you can see if you are reading this review, the part is much cheaper.3. Typically the motor is not bad. When the cable fails, it recoils and the motor does not get damaged. I would recommend hooking up the motor and checking it with the switch to see if it is bad. More than likely not.4. This only took my buddy and I 1 hour to complete from start to finish. Super easy. The hardest part of the whole job was removing the cables near the handle.I highly recommend trying this repair at home or with help from a friend as it is not hard and saves a ton of money.
