This works like factory - the only difference was that the backlighting is a cool super bright white- as opposed to the factory warm dim light. It looks kind of cool, but is somewhat distracting at night time, it illuminates a lot more. If that's your thing though, go for it! No complaints, but wanted to point out the difference.A pick set will help with replacement and installation without taking the door apart.

Although this switch plugged in and mounted perfectly, it horribly programmed! When I pressed the gas pedal after button, every window rolled down simultaneously! The gas pedal forward button rolls all windows up as long as the button is engaged. The seat heat is completely non-functional! But hey...the indicators are the brightest indicators of all in my trucks cab...

My heated driver's side seat kept coming on randomly by itself several times in even a short drive. Reading on line suggested it could be several things & could be very costly. I decided to change the easiest & the least $$ switch first. This switch fit perfectly in my 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic & solved the problem. It's been 3 weeks & it hasn't come on by itself at all.

I replaced my OEM Driver's Seat Switches with this part. It checked out to be the correct part. The part fit perfectly, and the plug was an exact match for the OEM. The buttons work, but the "easy out" function (long button over the driver's memory select buttons) works opposite of the OEM. Instead of lowering the seat and moving it aft, it raises the seat and moves it forward. Other than that, it works fine. I wonder if this is a part number variation or a wiring error. Either way, I can live with it!
