Nice poster but needs to be shipped in a 2" tube to avoid those lines from folding. So it's doesn't look as good as it would had they used shipping tube.

This poster is pretty awesome. It is large with large font, making it easy to read. It is very durable. The only real drawback of the size is it makes it hard to find a good spot to hang it, but that's the opportunity cost of making it very easy to read. It has different styles, which makes it useful for a wide variety of people. This is an excellent poster for beginners.

Everything about this Drummer's Poster screams quality, both in the material it's made from and the information and content it contains. First, it's made of a very tactile, dimpled plasticized material that is much sturdier than a simple paper poster. The printing on it is large and bold so it would be easy to see from across a room. The content is well-organized. It has 4 panels. Left to right, on the first panel are drumming rudiments, reading the staff, and basic drum beats and fills. On the next panel are various Rock and Funk drum patterns/grooves. The next panel has a variety of R&B and Jazz grooves. Also, at the top, is a staff showing where each of the different drums, cymbals, etc. appear on the staff. Finally, on the last panel are shown World and Ethnic grooves and patterns. There is a lot of information here that should help the budding drummer and serve as a reminder for a more advanced student, as well.

Beginner or not, this drum poster is a great resource for drummers! The large, clear print and wealth of material is fantastic to look at and learn from!The generous poster size enables the notation to be large enough to read from several feet away.This poster is fun to look at, and informative!The poster is made of thick canvas material that will not easily rip. The high contrast print makes it easy to read, even in dim lighting.A great poster to add to your drum space - go for it!

Ok, firstly the material is like a wax canvas and seems very strong. It's matte, so there's no shine which makes visibility great. The poster is folded so that it can be refolded to each section, so you don't have to hang this giant poster. The type is large enough to have a stand or a wall and be able to see easily.For me, it has some great basics and foundations for beginning drumming. We have jams and there's a drum kit in the dining room, I'm certain this will help inspire some different genres.

I have been playing the guitar for a while now but I have recently started to play the drums as well. As someone who was not familiar with drum notation, I found this poster to be extremely helpful.It's like a giant-size cheat sheet. Rudiments, Basic Fills, and Beats, as well as several other Rock, Jazz, R&B, etc grooves. It is all in there.It is made from a sturdy canvas-like material so I expect it to last a long time.I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.

My son is in the middle school band, which means they mostly play boring songs with quarter-notes and half-notes, etc. Nothing too exciting, but his band teacher has been having some of the kids start with drum sets. My son is much more interested in learning drum set rather than just playing a snare or cowbell or whatever.He was pretty blown away by this poster. First, the poster is not simple paper. It's a thicker plastic/leather type material. It's definitely very strong and durable feeling. What he was most interested in was the breakdown of which drum set instruments correlate to which "notes" in a bar (snare vs kick vs cymbal, etc). He's started to work on some of the basic beats that are annotated on this.As for size, it's really big. The description is accurate that it's basically 4 feet wide. I think that the size is actually a good thing because he can sit further away from the wall and still be able to read it.Overall, I think this is a great poster for a young drummer.Thanks for reading! We have a budding young drummer who just got his first electronic drum kit for Christmas after playing for nearly a year. We placed this poster at eye-level in front of his kit to give him a visual reminder of what he's playing. At his current level, this poster also gives him some new rhythms and beats to practice. This poster is large at nearly four feet in width so the notes are not microscopic and can be read at a reasonable distance. We're very glad to have gotten this for our drummer as he's just getting started and seeing the many different rhythms he can grow into seems to have increased his desire to play more often so he can get there quicker.
