This is a great addition to my CV J bass! Plating is of good quality, and it's dimensionally perfect. I'm a machinist by trade, so I would know. You'll want to dremel off the plating from the ID of the holes so you won't have any grounding issues.It states clearly in the description that this cover plate is for IMPORT POTS. I don't understand how people who don't read fully about what they're buying can give this a bad review. If you have full size pots and order the wrong component, that chit is on you! Even if you did order the wrong thing because you didn't so much as glance over the pertinent details, take a 3/8" drill to the top three holes and WHAMMY!! Job done. THIS WILL NOT FIT FULL SIZED POTS. YOU NEED A PLATE WITH ALL HOLES MEASURING 3/8" IN DIAMETER.For anyone upgrading a Squier or any other import j bass with the mini pots, just buy it already, because this thing is perfect!

The Stock MIM Pots don't fit in the potentiometer holes. Only the input jack. so pissed. Can't even secure them, have to put knobs on top just to keep them in place.
