My one year old got these in his Easter basket because they look like little eggs and while they are cute and make good (not super annoying) sounds they can easily crack open spilling little beads everywhere. My son hit two of them together which split one of them in half and exposed the inside shaker material. Luckily I was closely watching him and could clean up the mess and discard the broken shaker quickly but if I wasn’t paying close attention these could have become a choking hazard. I still let my son play with the quite frequently because he really enjoys them but I definitely do not leave him unattended with them.

My 10 month old loves these. She shakes them, bangs them together, throws them. Endless entertainment! As a bonus my 4 year old likes these almost as much as the baby. These would make a great gift for any small child, they seem to be really nicely made. No paint chipping or peeling so far.

I don't know what it is, but I just LOVE the sound these make. Very sweet, gentle rattling. They are seamless and beautiful, bright colors. Good size too....small enough for little hands, big enough to not present a choking hazard. These are just adorable little eggs!

These are so pretty and my babies love them! My daughter is 10 months and shakes them and dances all the time. My nephew who is 16 months loves them too and has given them a few throws that they have handled well. They are very sturdy and well made. They’re the perfect size for little hands too but big enough that I’m not worried about them choking or anything like that.

These are solid little maracas with a gentle sound. They are a great size for a toddler to hold and shake and fit well into Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. I like to include a musical instrument into every OCC shoebox that I donate and these add a colorful auditory element for the receiving children. I will purchase again.
