tldrthey are cheap, but they are very playable, I can recommend to most drummers on a budget. can't recommend the plastic ones but they may be worth a tryfor the price these are great!for the wood onesI really love how the material feels, it's more mat which helps with grip. they feel really good, like a high end brand would feel. i also find the other drumstick brand I've tried in this proce range felt very light, these are def lighter than top brands but not noticably so. I can definitely recommend them for practice and for playing shows.they aren't super durable which is to be expected. you'll notice pretty quick the one you use to hit the hihats wear down pretty fast. i try to practice 15-40 mins a day and found it lasted a few weeks which is standard for this price range but definitely something to be prepared for.all in all I'd recommend it if you want to use a new set of sticks every show you play and you are fine with going through more sticks during practice.i wouldn't recommend if you just want durable sticks that would last longer.plastic onesthese are honestly not great. id say stick with the wood ones but it might be worth it to see if you like the plastic ones.benefits -they are likely extremely durable, I wouldn't know because I didn't get to use them much but they feel like quality plastic. this would make them ideal for if you just want a practice set that lasts awhilecons-1)they are super slippery! I've always struggled with my sticks slipping because I play for a while and so my palms sweat. this was a pro of the wood but def a con of the plastics2)they just feel off. maybe it's the weight, the material, or the fact that it's slippery but they don't feel like normal drum sticks. the sound they make is different, they bounce differently, they just feel like an entirely different experience. this means they could actually be bad for practicing as you may get used to sticks that function significantly different than wood ones. if you get some grip tape and fully commit to the feel and sound of plastic maybe this wouldn't be such a bad thing, but I personally couldn't recommend the plastic ones. I don't include this into my score just because of how cheap all of the sticks were together I honestly don't mind the extra like $2 I payed to try them out.

I am no professional drum player. I got these for my three year-old grandson. They seem to be taking a beating pretty well and they are holding up. I would definitely purchase these again.

These sticks are so well made. Nylon tips are tough and they are so well balanced. A perfect weight for my stick tricks and the tips are long lasting and don’t mark up your cymbals or drum heads.

The 2 plastic sets are such fun colors and well made. The wood sets are also well made and the weight to them is perfect. I wanted a could sets of plastic drum sticks for my 11 year old as they tend to be quieter then wood stick when using with a practice pad on top of a drum. These did just that! Will definitely be ordering again.
