I liked the consistency and viscosity of the emulsion. I had to figure out how long to expose the screen and it was 28 seconds with 2 100watt blacklights about 24 inches high. although I struggled and I did not like how it spread across the screen when applying and kept getting heavy drips and uneven coating-could be me and not the emulsion but that is what happened. also left large side drips-I used a 15 inch long scoop on a 20 inch wide screen. I go it much more even after about 10 screens-less or even light pressure seemed to work better for a more even coat. The emulsion worked fine for exposing and details and printed well-but my image was not extremely detailed-there was some one inch text- when it cametime to clean the screens it was very plastic and I could pull of large dried pieces from screen.

At first I thought it didn't work because the design wasn't marked, but then I did some tests and it worked very well, it worked for me after 6 seconds (200w UV light) for some it works with more, it all depends on the light, distance, etc.

Should've believed the other reviews. Even after contacting the seller, and buying the recommended test strip, still won't wash out well and when it does other parts are washing out that shouldn't have. Waste of time , highly do NOT recommend.Update, seller finally provided actual help, instead if saying to buy something else. Used my led uv light for 25 seconds and it washed out. But took nearly half the bottle and not getting much help , to get it to start washing out.

Can’t say enough good stuff. My screens expose easy at 18 seconds they wash out clean and I never have any issues. This stuff works great and is super easy to use.

Everything you want from an emulsion, took about 10 minutes to cure outside. I was able to reclaim my screens with just straight Clorox bleach (7% chlorine) with minimal shadows.

I've tried doing exposure tests... I've coated my screen like 5-8 different times, doing different exposure times for my specific 500W LED lamp. Not a single one has given me good results. The emulsion is SO hard to wash out, even at a very low exposure time. It takes scrubbing and scrubbing, and I guess my exposure times are way too low, because after scrubbing, the design is scrapped away. I tried higher exposure times and then the design just DOESN'T come out at all... even with a pressure washer. Haven't been able to use this emulsion at all yet because of all the trial and error it is giving me.The ONE good thing about this emulsion is that it's very, very easy to clean off your screen while using emulsion remover. That is it.

After my 3rd order of Jacquard Diazo Emulsion, I decided to try something else instead. I got into screen printing a couple months ago and had not successfully managed to make a good screen. Now, the color coding system for Ecotex is nothing short of confusing. I've looked at their emulsion countless times, but due to the poorly explained color system, I had absolutely zero idea which one to use. If Jacquard had worked, I never would have even given Ecotex a shot, simply because the colors and product titles did not differentiate each option well. With so many failed attempts, I decided I would give this brand a try instead. A lot of reviews mentioned it was great for beginners, so I settled on the purple PWR for my 110 screens, intending to use water based inks.I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. The consistency is COMPLETELY different from Jacquard, it's much thicker and more jelly like. However, it seems to coat far easier and much better. My very first attempt, I managed to coat 3 screens perfect.Exposure times seem to be about 1/4th that of Jacquard as well. One reviewer mentioned 3 minutes 10 seconds with a 500W halogen light at 18" above the screen, I wish I had listened. My lamp is 15-16" above, so I dropped it to 3 minutes flat and just barely underexposed. I then bumped it to 3:30 and just barely over exposed. Now that I am using 3:10 as he suggested, my screens are flawless.Ecotex, thank you kindly for the amazing product. Also, please do a better job explaining your products. You would have saved me 2 months of headaches if these were more clearly explained.
