This works for a number of food-art I've put together. It can be used to shape cakes and give a nice finish. It does give a slightly bitter flavor though. So I'd only use this for decorating very sweet or strong flavored items.

I unfortunately do not have the special food-safe printing required to use these so I cannot judge on that (FYI a normal printer will not work for any of these!)Came quite sweet and fragrant smelling despite being fully wrapped so I am not very optimistic about lasting freshness with these. Also quite tough and not pleasant to eat IMO. I would create my art but remove after serving but before eating

I got the Foodhoo Edible Paper A4 Size for cake decorating, but it didn't meet my expectations. The sheets were kinda brittle and tore easily when handling. Printing images wasn't great either; colors came out dull and not as vibrant as I hoped. Also, the paper didn't blend well into the frosting, leaving noticeable edges on the cake. Overall, not satisfied with this product.

Ok, I didn't know but you need an edible ink printer. Fortunately, someone printed one for my cake, so I could use it, but if you don't have an edible ink printer, don't buy this lol.It came out well and it was fairly easy to cut and handle. it tasted good too.

This are ok but not too flexible. Cracks and breaks really easy. Flavor it’s ok and good quality for edible printing . Bit of issues getting them stuck on the printer

The Edible Paper Frosting Sheets are excellent. Sealed tight, they were fresh and pliable. The flavor is great - not vanilla so much as marshmallow! They hold color perfectly and don't run. This year I'm doing edible watercolor painting on a birthday cake and these work very well. They hold the excess water mixed with the color, without getting gummy or sticky. Once dried, the color was beautiful and crisp edged. My 'test' sheet smelled so good I ended up ripping off bits and snacked on it all afternoon. Very good flavor, great pliability and perfect thickness for either printing or painting your decorations.

Disclosure - I do not own a printer that can handle edible inks. I have also never tried using edible paper before. I got these because I wanted to try painting on cakes. I have some paintbrushes that were specifically sold for food, I think possibly from the Wilton brand. Instead of paints, I just used my standard food colorings with some water. I was quite impressed with the paper as a canvas for paints. No bleeding and it was very similar to watercolor painting on a thick watercolor or drawing paper. I am including a photo of the sheet that I sacrificed to doodle on. The picture makes the paint look spotty, with white dots, but in person it doesn't have the white spots.Where I am not so impressed with these sheets is the consistency. The edible paper is not only similar in texture to art paper, it's also about the same thickness. It is tough and chewy.I could smell these when I opened the box. It looks like some of the creases in the foil wrapper developed holes. I had to repackage them. The small and flavor is a very sweet "birthday cake" taste. There's definitely more smell than taste to it because it's not that far off from eating flavored paper. It's not something that anyone would ever want to eat on its own.On a side note, I can't help but notice that almost all of the reviews currently online are not from verified purchasers. Some of their cakes also look a little too impressive.

You'll need access to an edible printer to use this, but assuming you do--these work great! They have a decent shelf life if you can't use them right away, but be sure to store them flat, away from heat, and enclosed in the sealed packaging in order to keep them fresh.
