These are full sized outlets so may be a tight fit into older metal boxes. We have had to wrap tape around the GFI to ensiure they do not ground against the metal boxes. No problems with the newer boxes which tend to be larger than the older boxes.

We recently bought our house and it had no GCFI outlets anywhere. We ordered these and had a handyman come install, He commented that they were nice and up to code and easy to install.

These were a little more compact than normal. I installed, then realized I had to use tamper-resistant to pass inspection. So I had to remove them. I may reinstall - I hate tamper resistant.

These ELECTECK 2 Pack GFCI Outlets are fine. They work as advertised. As an electrician I have installed many of these and never had a problem.

These cost so much less than the big box stores that I was sceptical. Once they arrived I installed 1/2 of them and they are easy to install and work great. I tested them with a GFCI tester and they performed correctly. I will definitely be buying more of these as needed!!

I haven't had a chance to have one installed yet but will soon. Lightning struck close to the house and the power went out. The gfi outlet wouldn't work after the power came back on. We've used these before and had good luck.
