This neck is fantastic! yes I leveled, crowned ,polished the frets as with any other neck but the price is incredible. I put this neck on one of my telecaster builds and I love it. The fretboard is a mystery it might not be wood at all but it plays very well.

Its a really good build, i was surprise at the quality, i would definitely order from them again. I would have liked if the nut was bone or just a better quality also if they can put in the description what tuning heads will fit.Over and above i am very happy.

It goes without saying that expecting quality from a $40 neck would be foolish. However, there are basic qualities that anyone should expect. This neck has fret ends so sharp that it cut my hand just removing it from the box The fret board was so dry that it soaked up 3 coats of oil. There are dents in the neck, and deformities in the wood that are quite noticeable. The scarf joint is stark, and the two woods are very different. I get it, I got what I paid for. I just think a couple of basic issues could have easily been avoided.

This is a cheap neck but appears to be decent quality. Be prepared to do quite a bit of sanding and fitting. Would have given 5 stars if the frets were sanded down smooth. I expected to have to do some fitting but frets should not be sharp along the edges. 24 fret bat
