My old EWI died and I wanted something less expensive. The missing right hand little finger key is annoying but if you press both the C# works. A Bb is different but I will get to know it. There is no key for the middle octave so I taped a button on to keep my finger in place as needed. The instrument is very light but I also taped a clarinet thumb support to locate right hand fingers. I use this only for my own entertainment. I have not figured out the Bluetooth yet but with a cable it works fine and is okay with its own sound and no computer needed!

Writing this shortly after getting it and trying it.If you are looking for a MIDI Controller and EWI, then the DF10 is worthy of consideration. The MIDI works in FLStudio, FLStudio Mobile, Magix Music Maker, and OpenMPT via USB.Only issue is doesn't seem to have a product website with support; so if you buy this, you are on your own.Overall: Great Product

I played saxophone growing up. I haven't for a long time and figured this could be a way to get back in practice.First of all it doesn't really sound like a sax. The note fingering is the same as a saxophone, but it sounds like a horn. There are other tones that sound like a flute, but nothing that really screams sax. So that is a bit of let down.Though you can still use it to work on fingering. Also it does require you to blow the like you're actually playing, including the volume increasing as you increase your air volume. So that is good.My kids like testing it out too.If you aren't expecting it to sound like a saxophone you should get a lot of good use and enjoyment out of this electric instrument.

The first day I had the Midi EWI, it worked fine. On day 2, the octave buttons stopped working. If you buy this, get insurance with it.

This instrument is a lot of fun. I've played a little bit of flute and recorder before and I found this instrument to be very intuitive to learn and fun to play. I was playing tunes right out of the box. It has several fun sounds to play, and it can transpose into different keys. You can also adust the reverb settings, which is nice. It has a built-in speaker that sounds good. The flyer says it has Bluetooth connectivity so I'm hoping I can get it connected to one of my Bluetooth speakers, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.
