Ordered these to help my 4 year old grandson learn to hold a pencil correctly. That’s not exactly what these are for. They are to help reduce hand fatigue. So, I can’t take off points because I ordered the wrong product. These slide easily on a pencil and can be switched to a large or smaller grip. They are colorful and do provide cushion. My grandson doesn’t really like using them but I’ll hang onto them as he might like them more in the future. I do agree with the other review who say that the fact that they are split makes them feel odd in your hand. They are probably better for adults than kids.

Bought these for a student of mine who is struggling to grip pencils correctly. The colors are really inviting and the grip helped him position the pencil in his fingers. The silicone is nice texturally to feel and it helps slip the grip on the pencil very easily.

I really wanted to like these pencil grips. I need them for everyday writing, but mostly need them for holding brushes, colored pencils, diamond art pens, etc. The issue is these are split on one side. This feels very odd in your hand and as you write, that split wants to open due to the motion of your hand and the pressure on the pencil. I really wish they worked better as I could use this type of padding.

I have issues with my hands and now have difficulty holding pens and pencils long term and without pain. I picked these up to try and they work. They do have a slit up the entire side which meant I didn't have to work it up the pen but they do shift and move more than ones that aren't complete open. They are also a little big for my hands so they aren't 100% a solution but I can write so much easier with them so I would recommend them but maybe not for larger pens or for people with smaller sized hands

These are firm, but not really good for little hands. The kids who tested these out ended up using them more as fidgets than pencil grips. I found these grips to be awkward to hold. However, I think these could be good for adults who are in OT. These could help folks with arthritis or other gripping issues that would require OT.

I tried this set but couldn't find a comfortable position. Even with the thinnest width pencil I have (7.7mm/0.3 inches), the grip doesn't close completely, making the distance between my index finger and thumb quite large. Adding the grips increases the thickness to 23mm/0.9 inches. I even tried changing the orientation and cutting one in half, but it still didn't feel comfortable. If the pen or pencil were to slip into the grip and the indentations for your thumb and forefinger were deeper, it might be better. This item does provide a wider grip, so it could be useful for a young child or an adult with dexterity problems if they hold the grip a bit higher up.

Great for anyone with grip difficulties. I struggle with tendinitis in my wrists and the bulk that these add to nearly any pen helps a ton.
