Small, lightweight, easy to use and love all the functions. Exactly what we were looking for to have in our emergency bag.Will test it every month and charge it up, but so far so good!

Color and design of radio is nicely done. Controls are straight forward and easy to use. I set the radio on my desk near a window and the solar cell continuously charges the battery. I always know I will have a radio available in the event of the loss of power to my home. Even if there is no light to charge the battery, the hand crank ensures that I will be able to receive weather or news information. For the price, it is a good investment. It is a comfort to know that you can get radio and weather information despite adverse weather conditions. A great addition to your emergency plan equipment.

There are so many of these on Amazon that it's very difficult to choose which one to get. They're all about the same price. I wanted some specific features and this one had all of them. I was actually quite surprised when I got it. It works really well in all of its functions and pulls in stations that I didn't think it would be able to. Has a decent sound, it's an emergency radio so it doesn't have to be audiophile quality haha! It seems to be fairly quality built too. And I believe the run times on the lights as I'm not actually tested them. But I did use it for quite some time and it was still working. Perfect. Is a very packable size and doesn't take up much space. Hopefully I will never have to use it for its intended purpose, but it's very nice to know it's there. I have taken it with me on a 2-day backpacking trip and it worked excellent for a small radio to have with you. It's durable and you don't have to worry about it if something happens since the cost is fairly low. If you need one with all of these features, I recommend this one, but it is the only one I've ever used so I don't know if there's any better ones out there. But if there are, I can't imagine that they do anything much better than this one.

This is a great little radio, especially for the overstock price. I charged it to 100% immediately - comes charged to 50% - then tested it out. Was unable to find our local Emergency channel, probably b/c it isn't broadcasting right now and I don't know what number it is. The lights were fantastic, didn't test SOS b/c reviews said it's REALLY LOUD!, the various channels worked well and I was able to adjust the volume from softer to louder. Didn't try hand crank. Was very impressed with the overall light under solar panel. It's overcast so I can't try solar panel and I charged it from outlet anyway. Impressed that you can recharge (2) phones from USB ports. It was easy to find radio station b/c a button lights up when you hit a working station. Speaker quality isn't so good, a lot of static, but that's not really what you would regularly use radio for, and in a power outage, anything is better than nothing. It's for a gift and I'll let recipient test the items I didn't. Looks just like picture, small for camping or hiding away until needed - just keep it charged! Compass seems to work fine. Would definitely buy again, and may buy one for ourselves in future.
