Soild brass. I had my doubts. The ball joint is quite stiff. That to me is a plus. I wish there were fractional stars. The wrench that is supplied doesn't fit. Other than that it was package securely with everything shown in the description.

I should have read the low-end recent reviews, and listened to what people were saying.Review 1: I purchased this because it said it had options to take a larger handle end/hose end. It did not come with the plastic sleeves in the Amazon listing.Review 2: The problem is the shower handle holder is way too small.Review 3: It was too small and didn't fit my handheld shower head.Review 4: Shower head holder is way too small.Review 5: What I received didn't have the adaptor (plastic cupping reducer).

The quality seems very good, I mean real heavy duty. Problem is the holder is way too small for anything that would require such a heavy duty holder. I actually think they may have sent the wrong one as what I received didn't have the adaptor (plastic cupping reducer).

Bought this for the metal build quality after my previous holder made of plastic started leaking. Came with all the required pieces to assemble including washers, wrapping tape & fastening tool. Easy installation, no more leaks.

This is very well made. My only issue is that it's a little tight for the base of the shower head. I guess maybe my shower head might be a little larger than most. That's the only reason I gave it four stars.
