Quality product. The mounting system is great and provides a secure mounting solution. Super easy to install.The unit is solid and works well.Worth the money over the cheaper brands.Note: It would be nice to offer a brand with a single female outlet instead of the multi female outlet. This would make it easier to drag around the shop.

I've been wanting to add something like this in my garage for quite a while. It's a pain winding up a long cord every time. This cord reel seems very well made and so far has worked quite well.My only knock on it (thus 4 stars) is that I didn't realize you are supposed to mount it to a board or block and then mount that base to your wall studs. I didn't want to hunt around for a suitable base so I just mounted the swivel right into the wall studs in my garage. It's not exactly where I wanted to place it but it's so heavy that you probably can't trust most wall anchors to hold it up for long.

Got this as a gift for my husband and he loved it! It's GFCI installed outdoors to provide easy access to power around our pool. Worked great with our electric blower and easy to pull out for parties to provide power where needed (slow cookers, music etc) then retracts easily to be hidden when not in use.

I loved everything about it easy to mount and instructions for mounting were good. The biggest problem after more a dozen uses. I had a problem with the breaker on the unit constantly popping. Not sure if the large enough breaker or a faulty breaker. A real pain in the butt when you only have a pressure sprayer hooked to it. I wonder what would happen if I plugged in multiple items, it probably trip after turning one item on. To me it’s not worth the money.

This 75 foot retractable extension cord is probably overkill for personal use in my 3-car garage, but I love the convenience. I check and air the tires on two cars once/month and I periodically run some electrical device (e.g. vacuum, electric chainsaw, power washer) and I just love the convenience of grabbing the cord and walking to where I need it, then when done, just give it a tug and walk it back. as opposed to manually unwinding/winding an extension cord and dealing with the kinks and tangles that come with that process. I would have mounted it to the ceiling between the two garage doors, but I use that space for shelves and it just wouldn't work well being mounted above a tall shelf. So I mounted it to the wall by my work bench and it works well there. I'm an old retiree and don't really do all that much home projects anymore, so I can't really justify the expense, but I really like having it. :)
