I had been taking up a lot of my freezer with a large bowl of freezing water for my daily face cold plunge. This is a great idea because you fill the holes with ice while the bowl is folded flat. You place it in the freezer and when you are ready, you pop up the bowl and add water. It mixes with the ice and makes a great cold plunge. The fit is tight but I think it will fit most faces. It is easy to clean, fill with water and lay it back in the freezer. Someone had a great solution to putting a large bowl in your freezer!

So, I haven't used this for exactly it's intended purpose - I got this as I needed a large bowl that's easy to pack and travel with on long road trips- and I'm very much satisfied with this one!The soft, flexible, and collapsible design is perfect for putting in our "meal travel bag" without banging around the other stuff in there. I haven't used it to make ice cubes, but it looks like it would work well and certainly there is no problem getting cubes out of a flexible silicone tray. It cleans easily and not much sticks to silicone.I'd rate it a good value and expect to use it for years.

So at first the design totally triggered my trypophobia. Lol. I didn’t think the bowl would fit in my freezer so I folded it all the way down and then I found it a bit hard to fill the holes without it going over but it’s totally doable if you don’t have any room. But it does fit in my freezer at full size as well. It just fits my face, I don’t think there’s much room but I could be wrong. It’s not like I can see myself from behind, but that’s just what it felt like. There was no room for me to plug my nose which that part was hard. I feel like I’m drowning if I don’t plug my nose. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to break up the ice or just leave it at the bottom so I just popped them out of the holes. That was easy and kind of fun lol.OK, so here is something maybe not everyone knows but if you have mental health issues or let’s just say you are just out of control emotionally and cannot get yourself together no matter how hard you try. If you stick your head in ice water, it is actually a trick that has some scientific reasoning of which I don’t remember why but it basically shocks your body and it will bring you back under control. It seriously works.The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that I really think that the diameter is small. And for the fact that I could use any bowl honestly and put ice in it or I could simply fill up my sink and put ice in it. I do like the fact that it’s clean and ready to go unlike trying to wash your sink out first if you’re going to use that or maybe you don’t have a bowl big enough. It is nice that it folds up. I do like that.

I'm actually really excited to try this. I haven't tried ice face plunges before but have read about the benefits - waking you up, reducing swelling/puffiness in your face, shrinking your pores, etc. I honestly have been too lazy to do it even though all it requires is ice and a large bowl of water. However, I don't have an ice maker in my freezer so I have to use a tray so using them means I have to refill it and wait until a new set freezes before I can have a cold drink.This is nice because it has the ice tray sort of built in so I won't have to wait to refill my ice tray. I also like that it has a lip on the edge to help prevent water dripping and that the bowl is collapsible for easy storage. A little thing that I also really like is the color. It's the prettiest lightest green. It looks exactly how "glow in the dark" green looks (whiteish green). I don't know how to explain it but it looks and performs exactly as pictured. I definitely didn't think this was something I wanted or needed in my life but I'm glad I have it now!
