Really a nice clock! I like the 3 item toggling it does between the time, date a temperature. Just know it's celcius only. But you can set it to do any one of the three and hold to just that.I did notice it needs a rather strong and direct solar charge to get the batteries going - so I simply decided to plug it and keep it on full time with the micro USB port in back.3M makes a heavy duty adhesive tape if the applied stuff doesn't work.=============I rewrote the directions here so as to not lose them, and secondly, "they're terrible," so my translation of Chin-glish here should be easier:Solar Electronic Clock Operating Instructions1. Primary ActivationBecause the display of this product is on the vibration wake-up display, for example: when the car stops for 5 minutes, the product will automatically hibernate and not be displayed in a static state. However, the time still goes according to the normal time, when the owner gets in the car, and the normal.road vibration occur, the clock automatically wakes up.Therefore, and in order to avoid the power consumption caused by the vibration during shipment to the customer, the customer needs to press and hold both buttons at the same time to activate the product when received and using for the first time for it to activate, otherwise it will not work. After activation, any further use will be awakened by the vehicles vibration.[After the vehicle is still, to reawake the unit, just lress the upper button. Note: the unit goes into sleep mode and the display turns off when the vibration of the running engine stops (even when the USB Cable is plugged in for constant power).]The main power source used by the unit is from the solar charging feature which recharges the battery. The charge should last 100 hours before needing a recharge. Please note, there a power port on the backside of the unit for powering it directly off of USB Power while recharging the battery. This port is of a Micro USB configuration.2. Setting the Date and TimeLong press the lower key for more than 2 seconds, and the electronic clock enters into the time setting function. The minute key will blink, press the upper button to add to the minutes (Note: the time setting only counts up and the starts back at zero after 59, the lower button only takes you to the next setting). Press the lower button once the correct minute setting has been entered to then set the appropriate hour. Press the lower button to adjust the hour. After setting the hour, press lower button to accept this and move onto the date setting. The display format is XX.XX, to such that April 10th, will be displayed as "4.10". Use the same method for adusting the day, followed by the lower button to accept, and then the month, and again the lower button to accept once more. The following displayed item is the year, press the upper buton and select the appropriate year, the the lower button to accept and exit.Note: although the year will not be shown in use, it will affect the accuracy of the date, so it should be adjusted to the correct year.3. Parameter SettingsPress the lower key quickly, to toggle through the parameter settings.• "AC" means that the temperature error of the probe is relatively accurate. Entering a positive number is number will decrease the sensed temperature. The Scope is from - 5 to 5 degrees.• "dd": x is to select which combination of items to display in the display cycling mode, wheras "dd:0" = time + date + temperature, and "dd:1" = time + temperature.• "dF" is the display cycling delay in seconds, which ranges from 1~9 seconds.• "LL" is the displays Intensity contol. One id the darkest, and three is the brightest.•"AL" is the automatic brightness switch. When set to AL:1, the clock will change the brightness according to the intensity of ambient light. At night, it will become level 1 in brightness; and during the daytime it will be at it the brightest setting ypu entered in the LL parameter.4. Display ModeWith the display not flashing in the change settings configuration, press the upper key quickly, to toggle to one of the 4 desired display modes available : (1) Only time, (2) Only the date, (3) Only the temperature, (4) automatic circulation of all of the three previous items: time, date and temperature.

Numerous unexplained setting options start blinking (e.g., dF: blinking 5, 8, 7; LL: blinking 3, 1, 2) when, following the instructions, I try to adjust the time from incorrect to correct. All I want and had expected is the correct time displayed on my dash clock.
