I had a single Sata to USB case that I was constantly swapping SSD drives into and out of to use as "time machine backup drives" for my macbooks. The case finally died and rather than buy a new case, I decided to try this cable.It is well made, it snaps onto the drive with decent grip and the transfer rate seems to be just fine.

This adaptor works. I use it for SSDs that I have laying around. Everything about it seems cheap though.

I have a usb-a version but a usb-c would be better suited for this day an age. Everything is moving towards usb-c and this is greate value and a must for all IT techs. Comes in handny. Would have been nice to have a usb-a adapter. Other than that, perfectly suits my needs.
