I used this to mount a flashlight to my rifle for coyote hunting. It held very snug and caused me no issues. Would definitely buy again.

Used this to mount a fox pro light that needed more clearence between light and barrel so had to add some rubber strips to mount to get that distance we needed. Used (3) of these mounts per light. not ideal but it worked and held the light secure thru the woods.

Pretty neat and inexpensive quick release system for mounting an accessory to a barrel or magazine tube depending on the type of platform you are using. I purchased this in order to use for mounting a small tactical flashlight for home defense use and it's a perfect low-cost option. At a $10.00 price point at the time of this review, it is a light duty use product that does the job, but definitely not something I would rely on for use outdoors or as a daily or regular use type of item.I do like that the mount is a firm rubber material that is solid but will not scratch the finish or create any wear marks on the item it is mounted like damage might do were it made from a hard plastic or metal material. The straps are made from simple velcro material which if they do wear out over time, can simply be replaced with other velcro strapping type material that is widely available.

These are definitely not useful on a firearm over .22 as the velcro attachment simply does not hold steady at all. In fact a flashlight flew off my Saiga when I tried it on that one. For non-ballistic use these are sort of handy though. I am using one now to attach a powerful IR scope to a night vision monocle and that seems to be working without any problems at all. I'm sure there are a few more uses the creative mind can find for these, but keep them off the bang-bangs.

If you are looking for a quick, inexpensive, and easy attachment system for your .22 or air rifle, this is a decent choice. They’re lightweight and versatile, easy to adjust as well. However, these will not hold in a tight place with significant recoil. I attempted to use these to attach a flashlight to a shotgun but the light would slide all around the tube with little resistance. Again, for a light recoil gun, this is probably good…not with something that’s going to kick though.

Put this on a shotgun with a streamlight pro-tac 2L-x 500 lumen flashlight, very handy.
