  • The Old Wives’ Tale That Really Works: "Drop a copper penny into the vase with your flowers to help keep them fresh for longer."
  • Southern Living, Apartment Therapy, and Readers’ Digest all agree, copper is a smart way to keep flowers alive. When it comes to keeping cut flowers looking fresh, the aim of all home remedies are to keep icky, slimy, sticky things from developing in the water. Where does the copper come in? It helps keep flowers alive because it naturally cleans your vase water.
  • We’re making this home remedy even better by introducing our 100% copper charms, thicker and heavier than an old penny, and better looking, too. It is reusable, eco-friendly, and comes in a micro suede cloth bag for safe-keeping between uses.
  • We made sure that our charms are made of PURE copper. Any penny made AFTER 1982 is made with mostly zinc and contains less than 3% copper. There are many products that are copper colored, but aren’t actually made of copper.
  • The perfect stocking stuffer, white elephant gift, Christmas gifts, gifts for mom, gifts for women, gifts for her.

I always have fresh flowers in my home. I was using flower food for a long time but I would go through the bottle too quickly. I've been using this for a while and it works. My fresh flowers last me 3 weeks, some up to the whole month.

I used the copper heart to keep my cut roses lasting longer for several seasons, but lost it in a move. After I established roses at my new home I was sad about that missing element. You can put food and fresh water in a vase, but the copper really helps to keep the water clear and extend the life of the flowers for several days. Happy to find the copper charms again on Amazon - this time I got the cute star. :)

My flowers appear to be lasting longer than usual with this, but the water is still very cloudy and foul smelling even with daily water changes and stem trimming.

I bought these as gifts for my friends and we have all had the same great experience. It does extend the life of flowers. Only drawback is it’s small… so remember to use a strainer when removing old water from the vase so you don’t loose this down the sink

My blooms lasted for 3 weeks with this copper heart. It’s not only so beautiful, but it miraculously works! I could not believe how long the flowers my husband sent lasted. I usually get 1 week at best with plant food. With precious petal I got 3 weeks! Yes, some flowers didn’t make it as long (like a rose which would never last 3 weeks, but they lasted longer than I ever thought a rose could last!). What I did was slowly pull out the flowers that were wilting over a LONG time and replace them with some fresh supermarket flowers. It looked like a brand new arrangement. Make sure you keep the water levels up. With the heat on in the cold temps that also can kill an arrangement. If I had the patience i know you are supposed to fully empty the water, cut the stems a bit, then replace the water with new, but the arrangement was so full, I would never be able to put it back the same way, I would make a mess, and I am swamped with work I just don’t have the time. If you do, hats off and I would bet you would get a month out of your arrangement with precious petals! I ordered this on a whim. I love flowers and I don’t care if they come from the street, supermarket, bodega, or a florist. Having fresh blooms around make me calmer and happier. I was actually searching for a box of plant food when I stumbled across the product and read reviews and am so happy I bought 3 of them. I’ve already ordered one for my mom, grandmother, and sister too. I am not being paid for this review, I am actually still in shock at how well this simple little copper heart worked so well I felt like it warranted a 5 star review. A+product!

Plain and simple, just didn't work. Ultimately, while changing water one day, because it was so tiny, it washed down the drain with the dirty water... oh well. 😏 Kj 👩‍🦳
