Worked great one time. Just tried to use it a second time and pump failed due to leaking seals. Used white vinegar as descaler, flushed pump after first use before storage.

It states it’s a tankless hot water heater descaler. However when my plumber arrived he explained to me that it’s a sump due to its lack of filter & filtration!!!! I’m out of the window time frame to return (even though I’m a prime member, so I have to eat it!) Do your research!!! Being a prime member isn’t paying off any more!!!

I do regular flush on my Rinnai tankless water heater to descale. This kit comes with all the hardwares you need for flushing. You only need to get white vinegar to get the job done. The pump has enough power to circle the fluid through the heater. The stainless steel pipes have strong resistance to vinegar corrosion. The bucket is large enough to prevent fluids from spilling out during flushing.

Directions included with kit were good. To turn the isolation valves on water heater may have to use crescent wrench to initially move valves. Also to loosen filter may have to use pliers. Those two comments deal with tankless water heater and not the kit. Suggest watch some utube videos on how to do flush.
