I have bought these before with no issues. This last time there was a big thing of mold in the middle of the container that spread to the crickets on the outside. I had dumped the whole container in the chicken coop then saw it and tried to get the mold out before the chickens got it. As you can see I wasn't very successful. I only got a few moldy crickets out before the chickens got to them. Hopefully they don't make my girls sick. These are not returnable or replaceable. So, just a heads up ton look before dumping the container.

Yummy wet crickets! The chickens love them so that is good! They seem to be more interested in the moist crickets then the dried ones they usually get along with meal worms.

I opened this can and put it on our covered patio next to our coop, before letting our flock out for their morning treats. Within minutes it was covered in flies (as many others have said, it smells horrible). The scary part is that after landing on this product, the flies ALL died almost immediately. I posted a picture of the canned crickets surrounded by dead flies. This picture was taken within 5 minutes of dumping the can out. Luckily i had not let the chickens out yet when I saw the flies, and I quickly washed off the patio. There is NO WAY this product can be safe for chickens, if it can kill flies that quickly. Who knows what kind of chemicals this product has been exposed to. I will never buy again for the health and safety of my flock. I also attached a picture of the lot number and expiration date. I will be reaching out to the manufacturer as well, as this is unacceptable.

Highly recommend fast shipping my chicks love these, but please read the container. I didn’t and smelled some really gross after opening them. They do need refrigerated, but that was my fault. The can says it right on it.
