This yarn makes beautiful and soft scrubbies. I recommend using two strands of yarn when making your scrubby.

I have several friends who want scrubbies and I couldn’t find any scrubbie yarn around any of the stores. So off to Amazon and yay! There was some cool choices out there.It’s the same yarn as RHSs scrubbie yarn, but more cool color combinations.It’s worth the money.

I have made wash rags out of this great yarn for my family and friends . They are soft and strong,really great for removing food from pots and pans can’t use scouring pads on which would harm the teflon covering. I have used other scrubby yarn but this is the best——soft, strong, great colors and easy to use. Plan on ordering it again to make gifts for other friends. Great value for the money!

I was a little nervous about how this material would work up. It’s a light weight, fuzzy and smooth. But I found it was actually very easy to crochet with using a familiar pattern like a granny square and a Clover E 3.5 mm hook. Much easier than the cotton scrubby yarn I thought it might be like. I’ve used the scrubby I made for dishes and it’s held up incredibly well. Doesn’t get dirty, smelly, or stained like normal sponges, and I just rinse with dish soap after use. Scrubs well without fear of scratching; has a nice texture without being too rough. Can also pop in the dishwasher whenever you want an extra cleaning. I’ve tried all kinds of sponges (coconut, silicone, etc) and this is my absolute go-to, and I can make it in any shape or color variation I want. Great value, highly recommend!

My picture shows one of each the skeins. They are about 31/2 inches round and makes wonderful dish and pot cleaners.

I crochet, and make a lot of scrubbies for family and friends. The only complaint I have is that I have to use a cotton yarn with it. And the cotton can get nasty quick. So I can't keep the scrubbies as long as I would like

I have used this to make several scrubbies and love it. It is a great light weight yarn that scrubs anything without scratching. I have given several away and received really good comments that they are softer and easier to use than other homemade scrubbies they have been given. I find the yarn to absorb water but to remain light and easy to wring out. I have given them to a few folks that could no longer use homemade dish rags because they became to heavy and their hands were no longer able to deal with the weight. These seem to work well for them - scrub dishes clean with little effort and wring out like it was a light weight sponge. I absolutely love this yarn The only downside is that it took awhile to get used to seeing the stiches as I would crochet - the same issue as other lightweight yarn with texture. The stitches can all blend together - but once I got used to the yarn, it's been a non issue!!
