The thickness of the handle is perfect, very comfortable to eat with. Makes a beautiful place setting.

This stainless flatware is beautiful and a nice weight. The quality is very impressive. I paid more than I hoped to when I first started looking, but I’m really pleased with this purchase and glad I spent the extra money. I expect to use it for years to come and I don’t feel the need to get a second “fancier” set for special occasions. It reminds me of the Pottery Barn Georgia pattern, which I love, but couldn’t justify the cost. When I compare the two patterns though, I think the Fortessa Doria is probably more comfortable to hold since the handles are more flat against the part of your hand that holds it vs the Georgia pattern, which is round.

This is beautiful, but sadly the teaspoon is the size of a toddler spoon. I placed it next to my silverware spoon that is of normal size but the picture does not do it justice. Suffice it to say I returned this because of that, I could hardly hold it as if to eat. So sad.

Comfortable to hold and use, slightly heavy. 4star restaurant quality IMO. Hopefully they'll be a lifetime set for me as I was "over" replaceing cultury every 2 years with the lesser quality stuff.

I have always used a spoon. It gets things going so I can switch to flooring and kneading. This is heavy. I also would appreciate it if it were an inch or more longer to balance the proportions and sit better in the hand. The bowl of the spoon is very big and broad. The spoon is super thick. If you are looking to -thwack your brother- go camping, it would definitely be good for -survival- cooking! Does need a longer handle to avoid proximity to hot things and improve balance and hold. Might need a better handle design as it does broaden near the end, forcing the hand forward. Yet more reason for a longer handle to secure slip without constricting space or dipping too close to the bowl of the spoon. Excellent sturdy neck where it attaches to the bowl.Really heavy though. If it were the same weight and 1.5" longer, I don't know that I would have any complaints.

Excellent value. I have made multiple purchases of this flatware over the years. All the pieces including the serving pieces have been identical in quality and appearance. They handle the dishwasher extremely well and come out looking brand new. Expensive quality and look at a great price.

Purchased this for my everyday use and guests as I don't believe in keeping things for special occasions. The weight of these are so balanced and comfortable to use and my guests keep asking where I got them from. Just stunning.

I bought a few of these sets to try and complete my full set. It is a gorgeous flatware set. I have never seen a set that was so shiny. They feel like excellent quality pieces. There is a nice heft to the handles, but not so much as to make them awkward to use. The design/shape of the handle is on both sides, so they are a little thick, which I find to be a good thing. They look and feel better than the flat handles that just have the design on the front side. I love these, cannot wait to complete the entire set and would definitely recommend them. The style is so versatile. They would look beautiful in a formal setting and are also excellent for casual use. They will fit with any theme or decor. I have had no issues with any marking or rust. No black marks like some other sets often get. These are just simply perfect, very polished, high shine flatware.
