This is A Well Made Drum Set No Nuts Nor Bolts were Missing I Had to Spend $78 on a Stand and Ride Cymbal not Sure why Many Companies have 2 or Non at all Cymbals instead of the Minimum 3 That It needs to Have Before anyone Can Play on it thoroughly but Looks Nice Sounds Wild without Adding Gel Pads that I Bought Separately but It’s Good

I recently purchased the Gammon Percussion Full Size Complete Adult 5-Piece Drum Set, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! As someone who has been playing drums for a while but needed a budget-friendly option, this set exceeded my expectations.Assembly: The assembly process was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. It took me about an hour to set everything up. All the necessary tools were included, which was a nice touch.Quality: For the price, the quality is impressive. The drums have a solid feel, and the hardware is sturdy. The cymbals might not be top-of-the-line, but they are decent for practice and beginner playing. The drumheads also provide a satisfying sound, especially after a bit of tuning.Playability: This set is perfect for both beginners and intermediate players. The response from the drums is great, and they hold their tuning quite well. The included stool is comfortable, and the stands are adjustable to fit players of various heights.Value: You get a full drum set at an unbeatable price, which is perfect for anyone looking to get started or needing a practice kit. It's a complete package with everything you need to start playing right away.Overall, the Gammon Percussion 5-Piece Drum Set offers excellent value for the money. If you're a beginner or looking for an affordable set to practice on, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

My 7 year old loves his drum set. Took a bit to put together but not overly complicated. Arrived early. The stool is useless; the seat doesn’t bolt into the seat stand , and my son has fallen off. The box was quite heavy, and has a minimum 2 persons lifting sticker yet the delivery company on sent one older fella - which wasn’t very smart.

I am not a drummer nor am I a professional musician so let's get that out of the way. I bought this for my kids who suddenly became interested in guitars and drumming. The item was as described, and it is indeed a full-sized drum set (according to a friend of mine who is a musician and knows about drums). From a non-musician perspective:1. Love that the set comes complete to get you going as soon as you finish assembling out of the box.2. Snare came fully assembled (and somewhat tuned)3. Assembly was a breeze (for a non DIY dad). My 9yo daughter helped me put it together and it took us under 3 hours from unboxing to hitting our first "drum solo".4. I have no knowledge of tuning drums so I just played it by ear and listened to the sound of each drum to get a "tone" I am comfortable with without it sounding like an echoing toy drum.5. Fit and finish of the product looks very well made for a "cheap" set.6. Cymbals are OK - not sure what that means really.7. I added a pillow inside the bass to give it more "oomph" - seems to do the trick.8. Adjusting the drum heads are as easy as inserting the included tool and going on a "STAR" pattern to tighten or loosen the nuts.9. Comes with DVD instructions but didn't need it because there were plenty of online videos I found - highly recommended to watch first before tackling the assembly.10. Started playing with the different "levels" of "stretching" the drum heads as my kids where playing them so we are now playing "in tune" sort of.11. I bought a "stress mat" from Harbor Freight tools so I can sit the drums perfectly without messing with our wood floors. From my professional drummer friend:1. Kit is amazing for the price.2. Definitely a beginner's drum set. Not a toy but a serious beginners drum set.3. For the price, it sounds okay, so long as you don't decide to take it to stage.4. Easily upgradeable to quality drum heads and cymbals.5. Able to "tune" it without issues and fit and finish is pretty impressive for this price range.6. Don't expect to sound exactly in-tune with professional drum kits you hear being played in the songs you hear on the radio.7. Bass pedal is not designed for "experts" so be gentle, if that's even possible with drummers.8. I'd buy this if I had very limited budget and want to practice at home or get started.9. I had my reservations and definitely lowered expectations being that I am a seasoned drummer but I was impressed by the decent sound that comes out of this drum set.10. Definitely, a great buy!

purchased this set over a month ago. i'll give you the pros and cons...pros- obviously this set is very cheap. there are single pieces of a set that cost as much as you're paying for this whole setup. if you're new to drumming and looking for something to give it a try on (or have a teenage kid wanting to learn), this is perfect. nothing worse than dropping a ton of money on something like this, only to find out you don't really enjoy it as much as you thought you would. it's a great foundation to build on. it was very easy to put together, although i should point out i had my room mate (a drummer) help me with a couple things, such as tuning the heads. despite the large number of people saying the set is garbage, falls apart after a couple weeks, etc. i can only conclude those people were beating the hell out of it, or bought it for their kid, who beat the hell out of it. i've been playing it for a decent period of time and have seen no signs of any parts weakening at all, including the stool, which popular opinion is claiming to be unstable. i should point out i'm a skinny guy, so if you know you're heavy, go ahead and order a different stool just in case.cons- the old saying "you get what you pay for" is kind of true with this set. not a single part of it sounds incredible, but everything is good enough to serve it's purpose. if you have the money, i'd recommend immediately replacing the high hats, and crash that come with it. these parts just don't sound very good, and a decent replacement won't exactly break the bank. i also had just a little trouble with the kick pedal. it had a problem of simply resting about 1 inch away from the bass drum when no pressure was applied to it. some adjustment requiring no extra materials completely fixed the problem. i would include steps to fix this problem here, but it's hard to describe.overall, great purchase that i am very happy with. don't let other reviews discourage you from buying this if you want a starter set. it's perfect for that purpose, and you can upgrade it how you want, when you want. just remember even though it meant to be hit, it is still an instrument. you wouldn't hammer the crap out of a guitar and expect the strings not to break, right? same principal here. hope this helps you.
