Our Lemon Seeds are Easy to Care for!
How to Grow as Bonsai
To grow our lemon tree seeds as bonsai:
- Start with our lemon seeds
- Plant in well-draining bonsai soil mix
- Begin pruning when seedling reaches 6-8 inches
- Wire branches while young and flexible (6-12 months)
- Maintain small pot size to restrict root growth
- Regularly trim new growth to maintain shape
- Fertilize monthly with balanced bonsai fertilizer
- Keep soil moist but not waterlogged
Note: Expect first fruits in 3-4 years, though they'll be smaller than regular lemons. Trees need bright light and temperatures above 55°F.
